achieved a total repigmentation within 4960 months of treatment. The following side effects were noted: slight taste of metal in the mouth, itching in the affected area (only at the stains in the extremities) and a mild dizziness. After the first year of complete regression, few lesions reappeared and new limited lesions were observed in 1.4% of females and 3.3% of males. As all the treatments of vitiligo give variable results associated with important side effects, we think that Vitiliklas-MCS may represent a useful presidium to promote cutaneous repigmentation without any collateral disadvantage. Further double blind studies are necessary to evaluate the real contribution of this natural product in the treatment of Vitiligo.
