Motivos de licenças médicas em um hospital de urgência-emergência

Trata-se de um estudo descritivo sobre o absenteismo-doenca entre os trabalhadores de um hospital de grande porte especializado em atendimento de urgencia e emergencia de Belo Horizonte. Foi analisado o absenteismo-doenca abordando a prevalencia, motivo (CID10), tempo de afastamento e risco por categoria profissional. As categorias profissionais foram: servicos de apoio, auxiliares administrativos, enfermagem e medicina. O indice de absentismo-doenca no hospital foi de 2,06. A chance de ocorrencia de licencas medicas por profissional e 4,7. Este indice foi influenciado pela alta razao prevalente apresentada pela enfermagem (8,48). Os principais motivos de licencas medicas sao doencas do sistema osteomuscular e do tecido conjuntivo (14,68%), fatores que influenciam o estado de saude (13,59%) e doencas do aparelho respiratorio (13,32%).This is a descriptive study about the illness-absenteism process among workers in a large emergency hospital in the city of Belo Horizonte, in 2002. The illness-absenteeism process was analyzed considering frequency, reason (DIC10), duration and risk, according to the different professions. The professional categories were: support, administration, nursing and medicine. The rate illness-absenteism in this hospital was 2.06. The possibility for leave of absence for each profession was 4.7. This rate was influenced by with rate 8.48. Found in the category missing. The main reason for leave of absences was related to orthopedics diseases (14.68%), other health problems (13.59%) and respiratory diseases (13.32%).

Avaliação da capacitação dos enfermeiros em unidades básicas de saúde por meio da telenfermagem

The Telenursing Project is an activity that gathers both the extension and research of the School of Nursing, Federal University of Minas Gerais, included in the National Program for Telehealth. It offers new ways of providing assistance, collaborating with the transformation of practical realities by offering Distance Education for the healthcare team. The present study evaluated the continuing distance education for the nursing staff of the Basic Health Units. This is a descriptive study, in which a qualitative approach was used, performed in municipalities registered by the program. The sample comprised 17 participants. Data collection was performed through interviews, which were recorded and transcribed. Three categories emerged from the analysis: the significance of the Telenursing Project in terms of assistance; the use of Telenursing in the process of distance training, and; use of the tools in the Telenursing Project. Detection of 137Cs in the Andes Mountains near Santiago, Chile

The presence of 137Cs was detected in soil samples from thi rteen sites along parallel 33°,3S at altitudes in the range from 900 to 1800 masl along the Maipo River canyon, near Santiago, the Chilean capital city. Gamma spectros copic analyses performed to the samples allowed identification of radionuclides emitted in the decay processes of the natural precursors 238U, 239Th together with primordial 40K. Concentrations of 137Cs relative to 40K showed significant variations.

A tecnologia como recurso de educação à distância no internato rural e metropolitano

The goal of this article is to assess the use of telenursing resources as distance learning method for students of the subject Curricular Training I, Rural and Metropolitan Internship at the School of Nursing of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, in 2009 and 2010. For this purpose a descriptive study to evaluate the use of technological resources of the Telenursing Project was done by the students of Rural and Metropolitan Internship. First, students and professors were trained on the tools used by the Telenursing Project (videoconferences, offline and online teleconsultations and distance learning courses). Then, they had to fill in an evaluation form of the videoconferences as a stage of the study, considering data on user identification, on Primary Care Units, on the approach given to the topic and on video and audio quality. Quantitative data related to the use of teleconsultations was obtained consulting the system. The results found enable to consider the use of telenursing resources as a positive thing both for students and professionals, since it is a tool that brings University and Primary Care Units closer, changing the practice from the theoretical discussion of the practice.

Work absence by disease in a public hospital net in Minas Gerais/ Brazil

This research had analyzed the causes of removal of work by disease problems in a public hospital net in Minas Gerais. The given were collected from the medical file of the workers in the division attention to worker healthy, referents to 2002. Were searched 16 hospital units. Between the 4735 medical licenses identified, 65,34% were extended from 1 to 3 days, considered a short duration. As the most frequent causes: diseases in the respiratory System (16, 20%), diseases in the muscle skeptical system and connective tissue (15,21%). The units of emergency had a projection on concession of licenses. The profile of absenteeism- disease showed different for short and long duration. The licenses over 15 days are cases more complex, chronicle process, while the 3 days licenses indicates diseases less serious and of a quicker solution.
