Featured researches published by Sueg-Geun Lee.

Chemical Communications | 2001

Catalytic asymmetric synthesis of cyclopentenones from propargyl malonates and allylic acetate by successive action of homogeneous palladium(ii) and cobalt on charcoal catalysts in a one-pot reactionElectronic supplementary information (ESI) available: experimental details. See http://www.rsc.org/suppdata/cc/b1/b106836a/

Seung Uk Son; Kang Hyun Park; Hwimin Seo; Young Keun Chung; Sueg-Geun Lee

The tandem action of a homogeneous chiral Pd(II) catalyst and a heterogeneous Co/C catalyst leads to a two-step one-pot highly enantioselective Pauson-Khand-type reaction.

Chemical Communications | 2002

Catalytic one-pot synthesis of [5.5.5.6]fenestrane systems via a dicobalt octacarbonyl-catalyzed tandem cycloaddition of dienediynesElectronic supplementary information (ESI) available: characterization of synthesized compounds. See http://www.rsc.org/suppdata/cc/b1/b108034b/

Do Han Kim; Seung Uk Son; Young Keun Chung; Sueg-Geun Lee

Catalytic one-pot synthesis of fenestrane derivatives from dienediynes was developed: fenestranes were synthesized in high yields by a dicobalt octacarbonyl-catalyzed tandem cycloaddition of dienediynes.

Tetrahedron Letters | 2003

Co/C-catalyzed tandem carbocyclization reaction of 1,6-diynes

Sang Ick Lee; Seung Uk Son; Mi Ra Choi; Young Keun Chung; Sueg-Geun Lee

Cobalt on charcoal (Co/C) can be used as a catalyst in the tandem carbocycloaddition reaction of 1,6-diyne and carbon monoxide. The reaction product is dependent upon the reaction temperature, the position of the functional group, and the substrate itself.

Chemical Communications | 1999

Construction of tetracyclic ring systems by Co2(CO)8-catalyzed tandem [2 + 2 + 1]/[2 + 2 + 2] cycloaddition reaction of diynes: a simple one-pot reaction†

Soon Hyeok Hong; Jong Wook Kim; Dai Seung Choi; Young Keun Chung; Sueg-Geun Lee

The Co2(CO)8-catalyzed tandem [2 + 2 + 1]/[2 + 2 + 2] cycloaddition reaction of terminal diynes under CO produces an unnatural novel tetracyclic compound.

Journal of Organic Chemistry | 2005

Stereoselective synthesis of (+)-SCH 351448: a unique ligand system for sodium, calcium, and other cations.

Eun Joo Kang; Eun Jin Cho; Mi Kyung Ji; Young Eun Lee; Dong Mok Shin; Soo Young Choi; Young Keun Chung; Jong-Seo Kim; Hie-Joon Kim; Sueg-Geun Lee; Myoung Soo Lah; Eun Lee

Organic Letters | 2000
