일반 및 고속철도용 무선 및 제어시스템의 개발은 높은 기술력 확보와 경제성을 고려한 새로운 부가가치를 창출할 수 있는 매력적인 교통기술로 자리매김할 것으로 기대되며, 국내외 시장의 선점을 위해 조속한 실용화 사업 추진이 필요할 것으로 예상 된다. 아직 LTE-R 기반의 철도용 무선 및 제어시스템 시장은 제대로 형성되지 않았으나, 성장 잠재력에 대한 공감대가 형성되 고 기존의 철도기술 선도국가는 물론 후발 국가들 또한 기술개발에 박차를 가하고 있기 때문에, 국부 창출 및 철도기술 경쟁력 측면에서 조속한 추진이 요구되고 있다[1-3]. 새로운 철도기술의 도입이나 개발에는 막대한 재원이 소요되므로, 실용화 가능성에 대한 막연한 기대를 갖고 접근하기보다는 향후 국내외 시장성향을 고려한 경제적 타당성을 종합적으로 검토하여 사업의 당위성을 면밀히 검토할 필요가 있다. 기존 연구 에서는 지상ATP 도입에 따른 경제성 분석, 철도 통합무선망 구축사업 등의 방법론이 있었으나, 실질적으로 국가차원의 포괄적 인 관점에서 정리된 경제성 분석 방법론 정립은 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 정부에서 추진하고 있는 일반 및 Abstract Development of a train wireless signal control system using LTE-R technology is expected to have a great ripple effect to the existing signal control market. To make inroads into the international market, it is an urgent issue to practicalize the train wireless signal control system. Because it will require a huge budget to commercialize the wireless signal control system, it is necessary to analyze the feasibility beforehand, with a consideration of the domestic and foreign marketability and the impact on related industries. This study investigated the effect of the practicalization of train control system on future railway and national industrial sectors. We suggested the establishment of a framework for economic feasibility analysis, one that can provide criteria for opportunistic valuation. We also verified this framework through case analysis.
