Two species of Agaricaceae were collected on soil in metropolitan Tokyo, central Japan. These species were identified as Lepiota calcicola and Melanophyllum eyrei. These are new records for Japan. Macroscopic and microscopic descriptions and a summary of their known distribution are given.

Abstract A Scleroderma species collected on sandy soil under trees of Lithocarpus edulis in Saitama Prefecture, central Japan, is identified as Scleroderma laeve, a new record for Japan. Macroscopic and microscopic features are given.

Lycoperdon umbrinoides, a tropical fungus previously known from tropical Africa and southern Europe, is reported here for the first time from Kanagawa Prefecture, central Japan. Macroscopic and microscopic features of the Japanese material and its chorological note are given.

The known species of Psilocybe (Basidiomycotina, Agaricales, Strophariaceae) in Nepal

Psilocybe percevalii, P. pseudobullacea, and P. subcubensis are reported for the first time from Nepal. Of these threes the latter is the only species with neurotropic properties. Previously, only P. montana and P. coprophila have been reported from Nepal. Psilocybe coprophila, as reported from Nepal, probably represents P. pseudobullacea.
