The hazards of electromagnetic radiation to ordnance (HERO) program has extensively tested the detonating device, called electro-explosive device (EED), which heats up and initiates detonation via current flow. EED accidents can occur due to the action of an electromagnetic pulse (EMP). Any kind of system can be considered as an antenna to receive EMP energy and this energy may couple to the EED. The EED and its related problems are introduced and heat flow equations are studied. The amount and type of current induced in wires to an EED depends on the type of receiving antenna. Three basic types of antenna are discussed, loop antenna, dipole antenna and top-loaded antenna.

Several RC (resistance and capacitance) combinations were adopted in ESS-AX200 ESD simulator to generate different ESD pulses. And the pulses were injected into an integrated circuit. The damage effects of the integrated circuit stressed with these pulses were investigated. Results showed that the current passing through the device will increase when the discharge voltage increases. The relationship between the peak energy absorbed by the IC chip and the discharge voltage can be modeled as the bell-shaped Gaussian function. The failure thresholds of the IC were the same order of magnitude and were found to vary by less than a factor of two

Based on experimental study on microcircuit and electric explosive device (EED) applied by electrostatic discharge (ESD), the characteristics and its electric conduction law of ESD are introduced. And it is shown that the generally accepted Ohms law is not followed at times under very high electrostatic field. In another words, ESD discharge curve is not an exponential decay one. ESD may form a hazard to microcircuit and EED. And its effect mechanism includes thermal effect of adiabatic process, electromagnetic interference from broadband electromagnetic radiation, overstress in high potential electrostatic field and field-caused breakdown effect etc. The failure rate may reach about 50% for unprotected MOS circuits and 10% for bipolar circuits due to general ESD hazards. The electrostatic ignition energy of EED is smaller with 2-3th power than that of the EED which is ignited through electrifying.

LMS Algorithm floating point arithmetic in hardware implementation system takes up more resources, hardware running slow and can not meet the real-time requirements of the system. So we need fixed-point arithmetic for LMS algorithm. Doing algorithm modeling with System Generator in Simulink environment will be implement in ISE and MATLAB. We can make adjustments and do the corresponding design and simulation for fixed-point methods . Simulation results show that fixed-point arithmetic module can cellation noise well. But compared with floating-point arithmetic modules, there are a little errors. LMS algorithm module can achieve LMS algorithm effectively. In the Simulink environment ,it lay a good foundation for complex system fixed-point implementation.

In this paper, a new adaptive noise cancellation method applied on non-continuous communication signal submerged in multi-interference noise is presented. And the noise cancellation capability of traditional method using single adaptive filter is enhanced. This method could be applied to the designing and manufacturing of new adaptive filter used on non-continuous communication signal which is submerged in multi-interference noise such as fixed frequency noises, random noises and so on. Some simulation results show that this method presented in this paper has a strong capability of noise cancellation. So this research provides some technical guidance for improving the anti-noise performance of communication systems.

The mixed-potential integral equation is applied to a triangular patch surface model of the conical equiangular spiral antenna. The relationship between the input impedance characteristics and the geometrical parameters such as base radius, top radius, height, windings and angular-width of the arms are obtained. In order to obtain a wider band and stabler reflectance, when its geometrical parameters are restricted, the quantum genetic algorithm is applied and the geometrical parameters are optimized. A pint-sized of conical equiangular spiral antenna operating between 1GHz and 8.7GHz is obtained. It provides some theoretical guidance for the designing and miniaturization of this type of antenna.

The radiation effect experiment to a complicated electronic system by using of GW ultra-wide band (UWB) radiation source has been carried out. In cases of opening or closing the door of device under test (DUT) , the responses of test points on combination No.04 and No.08 of DUT have been measured. The response characteristics of test points on combination No.02 have been tested at different orientations of antenna of EUT And spectrum analysis has been performed for response waveforms. The results have shown that the response voltage on internal circuits of EUT may reach about 1.6 kV at condition of opening door of DUT when radiated by UWB source with 2.0 X 104 V/m of field strength (rise time is 0.3 ns and pulse width is 3~4 ns). The maximum response voltage on combination No.02 is about 1.6 kV under condition of optimum coupling of antenna. In this case, some of the electronic components which are sensitive to electromagnetic field may be damaged.

In order to study the electromagnetic coupling law of a metal body with different form holes, the body model and electromagnetic field needed were set up by the electromagnetic emulation software FEKO. Data showed that: the electromagnetic wave near the source presented obvious reflection; the intensity of electric and magnetic field changed tempestuously at frequency of 700MHz, which was the resonance frequency of electromagnetic coupling; the intensity of the round hole coupling field in the experiment is higher than the square hole; obvious electromagnetic wave diffraction happended at a distance from the body; the vertical far field changed greatly, affected by the body reflection mainly; in z, y direction the internal electromagnetic fields had asymmetry nature as to the hole.

By proceeding from micro electromagnetic damage function of the device, combining with domestic and foreign research achievement on square wave EMP damage, the relation between the damage data of square wave and it of ESD EMP is analyzed. The dependence among the damage data of square wave and it of ESD EMP is setup tentatively. Then, the conversion among damage voltage of square wave and it of ESD EMP is finished.

The response band width of EUT is about 500 MHz and main frequency point of response is about 70 MHz which are far apart from the working frequency of EUT. So the frequency of the outside electromagnetic field is not the main reason which affects EUT
