多段の多孔板塔による蒸発缶からの同伴飛沫除染係数 (D.F.) を塔内径124mm, 5段の実験塔を用いて水蒸気-水系で測定した。各段毎の (D.F.) を区別してもとめた結果, 最下段が効果的な飛沫除染性能を示すこと, および最下段で捕集されずにこの段を通過した飛沫は引きつづき可成りの分率で各段を通過するため段番号が大きくなるほど一段あたりの (D.F.) は減少することを実験的に確めた。また, 除染係数と飛沫量, 塔内蒸気速度, 段間隔および板条件との相関についても考察を行った。

ラシヒリング充填塔による蒸発缶からの同伴飛沫除染特性を塔内径124mmの実験塔を用いて, 水蒸気-水系で測定した。充墳物としては1/2-in, 磁製ラシヒリング等を用い, 単位蒸気量あたりの同伴飛沫量が10-4~10-5の条件で, 主として充填層高Z (10~40cm), 空塔蒸気速度μ1 (0.6~1.7m/sec) が充填塔の除染係数 (D. F.) におよぼす影響について検討を行なった。その結果 (D. F.) はμ1≧~1.0でほぼ一定値となること, z≧20では除染性能が類似することが明らかになった。
