As with any new technology, the development of high resiliency (HR) polyurethane seat form required the solution of several problems. They could be separated into processing changes which were discussed in a previous paper [1] and changes which related to the new chemistry of the HR system. It is the investigation of chemical changes in the foam which will be the subject of this paper.
