Effects of Gender, Age and Experience on Bicycle Riding Behavior

This research aims to clarify the distinction between consciousness and actual behavior on dangerous actions among young users of bicycle. About 5000 high school students were selected as the target for this research. As a result, although they had same tendency of doing dangerous actions both boys and girls, the boys had poor recognition of dangerous action more than girls did.

Study on Guidelines to Make Automated Service Machines

At the mention of purchasing behavior, the survey in 1996 shows that middle-aged and elderly people made significantly more mistakes than young people did. From the survey in 1997, we confirmed that middle-aged people made significantly more mistakes than young people did, and elderly people made significantly more mistakes than children and young people did. Comparing touch-sensor system to push-button system, operating touch-sensor system machines needed longer time and made more mistakes especially for elder age groups.
