This paper presents a data mining technique for qualitative analysis of Hodgkin-Huxley model of cell excitability. Such problem cannot be solved analytically. Therefore we apply Monte-Carlo techniques for the generation of model parameters, and use data mining algorithm for classification of learning tuples obtained. As a result we attain a decision tree capable of classifying the excitability depending on the relationship between initial conditions and between rate constants. Details of software development and issues of computational complexity are presented. The software includes the package of Java-classes. An example for classification of excitability of three types is presented.

The paper presents a data mining technique for qualitative analysis of functional differential equations of compartmental type. As a result we get the decision tree able to classify the system behaviour depending on relations between initial conditions and between rate constants. Antitumour immunity example is presented.

Paper presents our results dealing with qualitative investigation of neural network including discrete and distributed time delays. We use indirect method to get exponential decay rates of the model. Dynamic behavior is also investigated numerically when changing model parameters. As a result we get point attractors which transit to periodic ones when increasing absolute values of parameters.

The influence of ultrasonic radiation in the cavitation regime on the properties of wood activated carbon has been studied. The impedance dependence for the supercapacitors made both of the original and the modified carbon have been analysed. The equivalent electrical circuits modelling the impedance hodographs have been constructed. It has been shown that ultrasonic radiation changes the properties of the surface and shifts the position of the Fermi level to the energy area with high density of states of delocalised electrons.

We performed mathematical modeling population dynamics of phytoplankton in aquatic ecosystems based on interspecific interactions and nutrient pollution and toxic substances. We proposed a method of measuring control multispectral television ecological status of water bodies on the parameters of phytoplankton.

The purpose of this research is to offer constructive algorithm for estimator search in one network model under state and measurements attacks. The model is nonstationary descriptor system including difference equations for node state variables and algebraic equations for measurements. State variables and measurements are considered as random vectors. We use information cost criterion in order to find optimal estimator of inner product. The main algorithm is based on reducing estimation problem to a problem of optimal control. Mean-squared error independent on attacks is obtained

The article presents a new approach to the construction control systems for objects with uncertain parameters in the form of one-parametric structurally stable maps from catastrophe theory. This method allows synthesizing the highly effective control systems, possessing in the extremely wide area of robust stability. In this paper we present a model of single-hop type wireless sensor network with random access and oneway transmission. In the paper, we analyze the WSN single-hop network using one single radio frequency, such that all nodes are divided into several groups depending on the average time between the transmissions. We replaced deterministic number of nodes in groups by random variables. We apply the Poisson Arrivals See Time Averages (PASTA) to modeling the WSN. We present the formula for the collision probability in the new model. The purpose of this approach is to match better the network model with random access to real world applications. In the paper we present an application of Wireless Sensor Network with random access and one-way transmission to monitoring hospital patients, such that all nodes are divided into several groups depending on the average time between the transmission due to the different state of health of patients.

In many cases, solving optimisation problems, in particular a dynamic optimisation problem, is time-consuming. This is due to the long time of calculation of the objective function value. For example, during optimisation of the articulated vehicle it is necessary to integrate dynamic equations of motion in the whole time interval. The paper presents an application of own algorithm (EVCA) for reduction optimisation calculations time. This algorithm can be applied to any optimisation methods both stochastic and classical in order to speed up the optimization process. In this paper, articulated vehicle control task has been formulated as dynamic optimisation problem. During this process appropriate braking torques acting on wheels have been determined in order to restore stability of the vehicle. Results obtained from dynamic optimisation using EVCA algorithm have been presented and discussed.
