Induced radiation of an electron in a plane wave in a magnetic field

Yu. I. Klimenko; O. S. Pavlova; V. V. Kulish

This paper discusses the induced radiation of electrons in the field of a plane electromagnetic wave propagating along the intensity vector of a uniform magnetic field. Expressions are obtained for the power and frequencies of the radiation. The role of the polarization of the plane wave in the radiation process and the effect of the magnetic field present on the induced radiation in the field of a plane wave are investigated. Several specific cases are discussed.

Motion and radiation of a charge in a plane wave and a magnetic field

Yu. I. Klimenko; V. V. Kulish; O. S. Pavlova

The motion and radiation of an electron moving in the field of a plane wave of elliptical polarization and a magnetic field is considered. By the methods of classical and quantum theory, the effect of the plane-wave polarization on the characteristics of the particle motion and radiation is investigated. Some particular cases are considered.

On the theory of the radiation of an electron moving in the field of two plane waves and a magnetic field

Yu. I. Klimenko; V. V. Kulish; O. S. Pavlova

The motion and radiation of electrons in a homogeneous magnetic field and the field of two plane waves propagating along the vector of the magnetic field intensity are considered. The law of motion and expressions for the total power, frequencies, and angular spectral distribution of the electron radiation intensity are obtained. An analysis is carried out of the results obtained in the case of small intensities of the plane waves. It is shown that the presence of the plane waves has a considerable effect on the characteristics of synchroton radiation.

Fermi-particle scattering at a central force field

Yu. I. Klimenko; O. S. Pavlova; V. V. Kulish

In this article, we study the scattering of free electrons and neutrons of an arbitrary force center having a charge and magnetic moment, taking into account the electric and magnetic anomalous moments of the Fermi particle. Polarization effects of scattering are also considered.

Bremsstrahlung of a neutral fermi particle in the field of a plane electromagnetic wave

Yu. I. Klimenko; V. V. Kulish; A. I. Khudomyasov

The bremsstrahlung is considered from a neutral Fermi particle with anomalous magnetic and electric moments in the field of a screened Coulomb center and in the presence of a plane electromagnetic wave. The effect of the wave polarization on the scattering cross section and the behavior of the particle spin during the scattering process are considered. Cross sections are given for scattering of a particle at a Coulomb center in the presence of constant, crossed electric and magnetic fields which are equal in magnitude and also for a free particle. It is shown that the effect of the anomalous electric moment is often decisive.

Induced radiation by fermions in the field of two collinear plane electromagnetic waves of arbitrary polarization

Yu. I. Klimenko; V. V. Kulish; A. I. Khudomyasov

In the present article we consider the effect of induced radiation of fermions, moving in the field of two monochromatic plane waves of arbitrary polarization, propagating in one direction. Equations are obtained for the radiation probability and total radiated power of a particle. The spin behavior in this process is investigated.

Russian Physics Journal | 1975

In this paper, the induced radiation of a spinless particle (bosch) moving in the field of two opposed, linearly polarized, electromagnetic waves propagated along the unit vector n is considered. We chose the vector-potential of this field in the form:
