Oscillations of the comparator, which is used for the dynamic calibration of long optical line scales, are analyzed in the paper. The accuracy of determination of the position of optical lines on the scale depends on the velocity of the carriage, which transports the microscope with a CCD camera in relation to the line scale. Oscillations influence the velocity equability, its value, and at the same time the error compo measuring. The base part of the comparator is acted upon by external excitations which come through the foundation and supports, also due to natural frequencies of the comparator set. It is shown in the work that vibration surroundings acting on the comparator have a random character and correspond to the criteria of the normal (Gauss) distribution. It is proved experimentally that preaching amplitudes of measured components of vertical and horizontal oscillations influence the stability of the carriage movement which causes the error of measuring.

General formulation of modular forming of adaptive film lubrication bearings as tribologic systems of the lowest range is presented. Mathematical modular elements characterizing condition of tension of the bearing layer of lubricant as a structural bearing element are given. According to them configuration of structure of the bearing surface as well as the type of regulated bearing elements is defined. Jointing of mathematical modules is effected through the dynamic tension of the bearing layer of lubricant on the basis of solution of modified equation of Reynolds. The general idea of modular (segmental) bearing with sensors and computer control may be rejected or collaborated in every definite case according to the presented functional scheme.© 2006 ASME

The principles of design and classification of adaptive bearings are discussed. According to the given principles, the loading of a system under consideration in the course of its functioning should be definable and controllable. For fluid film bearings, this is effected with the help of a calculated algorithm which effects a change in the thickness of the support layer of lubricant or the inlet pressure in dependence of changes in the velocity of the rotor journal movement. Such bearings differ not only because of their structure, but also in their manner of functioning and may be both auto-adaptive and adaptively controllable. The suggested principles of designing the adaptive bearings are also used for their classification. The classification presented embraces not only the adaptive bearings that the author has created, but also other bearings of this type, in which the supporting surface should be more or less intermittently adjusted in accordance with continuous feedback of the measured position.

We present a noncontact optical-mechatronic device for measuring deviations of straightness of the linearly moving elements of technological equipment. The straightness deviations have been measured by optic-electronic means simultaneously along two axes of coordinates in the plane perpendicular to the direction of motion of the technological machine element. Measurement principles of the device are based on encoding straightness deviation in the difference of phase of signals obtained from the moving and immobile photo sensors when modulated light was applied. The device can be used for measurement, testing, and accuracy analysis of technological machines.

The essence of the considered problem is to improve line scale gauge calibration quality by studying vibrations that are induced during the calibration process. To assess the influence of vibrations it is necessary to solve a lot of scientific and technical tasks. Serious difficulties were confronted during the mathematical analysis - development of analytical model and determination of its coefficients. An in-depth analysis of line scale measurement means had to be performed to this aim, because only experimental measurements enabled to estimate the majority of coefficients.

Dependence of a comparator reading dynamic error on vibro activity of a carriage is analyzed in the paper. There is shown how change reading errors at action only carriage drive vibrations and at artificially provoked carriage vibrations at different frequencies. Results achieved enable to evaluate the influence of vibration components on reading errors.

The problem of quality diagnostics of systems with hydrodynamic bearings is analyzed in the paper. In analyzing the problem, the analytical research of the change of friction coefficient, pressure, rotor rotation axis eccentricity in dependence on the wear magnitude between the rotor and the bearing are performed. The method of the analytical research is presented. Results of the analytical research and experimental measurements are depicted in graphs.

The perspective of employment to diagnose quality of functioning of rotor system and discovery of developmenting defects of vibrationing signals, which registrate in the work of rotor system is important for properties of strengthening vibrotransducers, for simplicity of fastening of nonconact lasering speed and for inductive measuring transducers of improvement. It is examine the diagnostic system in this work, in which apply a few contact and noncontact transducers (frame of rotor vibroacceleration, inductive measuring transducers of improvements, laser measuring transducer of speeds and measuring transducers of phase). It is investigate the rotor system in which can be assemble hydrodynamic bearings and bearings of rolling of different construction. The object of research in the base of diagnostic measuring is to ascertain characteristics of inside sources, which cannot get in method of direct measuring. The quality of ability to work of this system belongs from type of using transducers and from apportunitys of analyses of getting signals. Orbits of rotor center, spectrums, densitys and others statistic characteristics are given using computering system of diagnosing of rotor systems according to which we can decide about technical state of rotor system.
