An Empirical Study of Environmental Kuznets Curve in China

Yang Zhoumu; Wang Wen-ping; Yang Yibo; Fang Fen

Environment Kuznets Curve (EKC) hypothesis is a classic expression of describing the relationship between economy and environment. Based on the theory of EKC, this paper established an econometric model between economic development and environmental pollution according to the data of sulfur dioxide emission and per capita GDP of China over the period of 1998 to 2012. Regression analysis shows that relationship between the sulfur dioxide emissions and per capita GDP displays a typical N shape, and the present situation of China is at the rising stage after two tunning points. Economic development of China is still at the expense of sacrificing environment to some extend. Pollution has been rising along with the development of economy, and this trend will not change in the short term. Transforming and upgrading from factor-driven and capital-driven to innovation-driven is particularly important for economic transformation and upgrading in China.

Organic mechanism and capacity grey set optimization for knowledge‐based enterprise

Wang Wen-ping

In this paper, the organism model for knowledge‐based enterprise is proposed. A dynamic capacity grey set is defined and analyzed based on the definition of the growth and development for knowledge‐based enterprise organism. The structure of the capacity whiten core, a subset of the capacity grey set, is optimized for different periods of the organisms life cycle. The organism grey topological structure model of knowledge‐based enterprise is described to possess the essential capacity grey set.

A Novel Modeling Method of Grey Verhulst Model Based on Optimizing Initial Condition

Shu Hui; Wang Wen-ping; Xiong Ping-ping

A novel method of optimizing the grey Verhulst model is proposed in this study to improve prediction precision. The weighted average of each component of the first-order accumulative generation operator (1-AGO) sequence on the original sequence is taken as initial value of the initial condition in a time response function. According to the principle of new information priority, this paper takes the respective components of unitization sequence of time ordinal sequence corresponding to the 1-AGO sequence as the weighted coefficients. The time parameter of the initial condition in a time response function is solved by making the average of the absolute values of relative errors minimum between the 1-AGO simulation sequence and 1-AGO sequence. Thereby, the grey Verhulst model based on optimizing the initial condition is built. Finally, the proposed optimal model and two other grey Verhulst models are used to simulate and predict the recycling rate of industrial water. The simulating effect of these three models is examined and the predicting precision is compared and analyzed. The result indicates that all of the three models are qualified residual models and the predicting effect of the optimized model proposed in this study is obviously better than those of the other two models.

Research on the service performance evaluation of the manufacturing enterprise's producer service value network based on ANP-GRAP

Chen Yuqing; Wang Wen-ping

In view of the characteristics of the manufacturing enterprises producer service value network, this paper constructs a service performance evaluation index system for the producer service value network. Considering the mutual influences and function relations among the evaluation indexes, this research selects the Analytic Network Process (ANP) to determine the weights of indexes, and uses the grey relational analysis to evaluate the service performance, and verifies the model through an application example.

Research on the relationship between knowledge grey generation and innovation performance in knowledge-based enterprises

Wang Wen-ping; Shan Haiyan; Chen Yuqing; Yongbo Cheng

The knowledge grey generation process in knowledge-based enterprises consists of the merging, recombination, splitting and deletion of knowledge units, which is the smallest behavior unit of the transformation from internal knowledge to value. This paper establishes a knowledge grey generation model of the knowledge-based enterprises to study the relationship between knowledge grey generation and innovation performance. Through simulation analysis, it concludes that the knowledge grey generation strength can influence the innovation performance differently in the enterprises of different innovation modes. Specifically, in the initial stage of knowledge generation, the innovation performance increases with the knowledge grey generation strength; with time evolution, the innovation performance will be down after it gets the maximum; the rules of the relationship between knowledge grey generation strength and innovation performance are different under different innovation modes.

Transfer efficiency of tacit knowledge in knowledge-based enterprises

Zhang Surong; Wang Wen-ping

Tacit knowledge transfer efficiency is key to obtain sustainable competitive advantage for knowledge-based enterprises. This paper constructs tacit knowledge transfer network models for knowledge-based enterprises based on consulting relationships among the staffs, and is given a method to identify core employees based on the network model. It also analyzes the impact of employee demission on the tacit knowledge transfer efficiency. The results show that: the core staff demission has serious effect on tacit knowledge transfer efficiency, while employees random demission has little effect on tacit knowledge transfer efficiency. The results would be helpful for knowledge-based enterprises to identify core employees and manage their staffs.

Recognizing the key part in the function upgrade of an industrial cluster based on grey analysis of DEA inputs

Wang Wen-ping; Wei Lulu; Shan Haiyan

Industrial cluster is one of the most important organization forms to induce regional competitive advantages. The industrial clusters in China at present are mostly locating at the low part in the global industrial chain. In this way, studies on the industrial upgrading, the upgrading routine and the choice of upgrading part are of important theoretic and practical senses. In this paper, grey analysis of DEA inputs is used to recognize the key part in the function upgrade of an industrial cluster, and then the electronic manufacturing in NanJing is taken as an example to explain how to use grey analysis of DEA inputs to find out the key part in the function upgrading. It is demonstrated that grey analysis of DEA inputs could efficiently recognize the key part in the function upgrading of an industrial cluster.

Research on key nodes appraising method for adaptive change management of knowledge-based enterprise based on the grey relational analysis

Wang Wen-ping; Shen Qiuying

Neural-immune-learning networks that structural embedded in the networks of knowledge-based enterprise is the kernel sub-networks, and it sustains the creation of the abilities of sense-respond-decision, immune-adjusting and learning. The key nodes and relationships are the key points of the adaptive organic change for manager. In this paper, the grey relational analysis method of recognizing key nodes for NIL-networks is given.

The evolution of company network based on the reputation’s Grey dynamics

Shen Qiuying; Wang Wen-ping

A companys reputation from another companys perspective develops with the interaction between them. Due to the incomplete information in the network in a certain cluster, there exists some uncertainty when the company is facing to choose which strategy to take (to cooperate or not to cooperate). In this paper we use the grey numbers in the payoff matrix in the games between a pair of companies. We propose a dynamic evolution model for the reputation in the company network, illustrate it by simulations, then use the UCINET to analyze the results and find the phenomena of sub-groups.

Optimal Allocation of Decision Weights and Decision-Making Process of Knowledge-Based Enterprise Organism

Wang Wen-ping; Chen Juan; D.A. Qingli

This research regards knowledge-based enterprise as an organism that is composed of full-coupling intelligent decision-making units. It puts forward a decision-making process model based on knowledge sharing among intelligent decision-making units. With the influence of knowledge transferring costs and coordinating costs of intelligent decision-making units, the allocation characteristics of decision weights among intelligent decision-making units in the decision-making process of knowledge-based enterprise organism is studied deeply. An essential conclusion is reached that the decision weights of intelligent decision-making units will be increased with the increasing of their special knowledge about decision problem. Finally, the model of grey incidence degree is given to determine decision weight of each intelligent decision-making unit based on historical correct cases. It provides the scientific decision support for the optimal allocation of decision resources in the operation of knowledge-based enterprise organism
