Intelligent ports based on Internet of Things

In this article, the informatization developments of main international ports are summarized. Then, the detail requirements of next generation Intelligent Ports are collected and analyzed. Later, the corresponding key technologies of Internet of Things are summarized. And, a kind of Intelligent Ports solution is proposed, and its main functions are designed in detail. Finally, the future development trend of Intelligent Ports is predicted.

The construction of parallel systems of subway stations based on ACP approach

The research on crown behavior and evacuation laws in the case of unexpected emergency incidents such as fires, explosions, accidents, driving, man-made mistreats in relatively closed, personnel-intensive, and high-risk subway stations, have a good theory and practical significance. Based on ACP approach, the architecture of universal artificial system of subway station is put forward for the first time. And its construction process and its application and significance are provided. It can study crowd behavior and evacuation laws in subway stations in the case of emergency situations. It may provide technical support for designing subway stations, evaluating evacuation plans and training security management and personnel. And, it has also good theoretical and practical values in designing evacuation system, developing and optimizing evacuation plans.

A fast recognition algorithm for detecting common broadcasting faults

The video before it is been broadcast should be detected to find out whether it has broadcasting faults. Broadcasting fault mainly refers to black field, static frame, color bar, mute, volume excess. In this paper, we proposed a fast recognition algorithm based on MATLAB to detect common broadcasting faults. We used M language to complete a software platform which can identify the static frame, black fields, color bar in the video sequence, and the mute, volume excess in the audio sequence. Experimental evaluation shows that our approach significantly performs well in the automatic broadcasting faults detection.

Improved information feedback in symmetric dualchannel traffic

Information feedback is very important in traffic systems. Real-time information feedback can improve traffic flow with existing facilities. This paper proposes a real-time information feedback strategy named improved mean number feedback strategy. Based on a two-route scenario, simulation results show that the strategy is much more effective in different length of roads or in different percentage of dynamic vehicles than the old strategies, i.e., congestion coefficient feedback strategy and mean velocity feedback strategy.
