In this paper, a new kind of the yarn online detecting instrument is designed. The principal and the hardware structure of the detecting instrument for the yarn quality are introduced. The yarn diameter information by the high accuracy intelligent laser sensor is gathered using the computer control technology and the programmable logic controller (PLC) control is adopted, through the analysis to the yarn sampled signal, the real-time evenness (the Cv% value) of the yarn is obtained and online demonstrated. The results show it is low cost and can meet detect request. Portable, online detecting, Electro-optical are innovation spots. It fills the domestic gap in this domain and represents the development of the yarn online detection in cotton factory.

This article describes the one-step scouring and bleaching of cotton fabrics in the PID control lye, the issue is the first Ministry of Science and Industrial Technology Innovation Alliance program sub-topics; it is also Tianjin Science and Technology sub-project issues. These implements ① One-step scouring and bleaching, significant time savings.② Multi-sensor data fusion technology is adopted, the test data results of the three detecting device will be fusion, improve the accuracy of the detection data, the system dynamic performance and control accuracy.③ Smart sub-processes and non-linear processing are adapted, the inference detection signal agencies to achieve a smooth transition, checking and correction.④ Smart follow, even with the decoupling control technology are adapted, the reasoning sector in achieving the following level of each tank, even, once again realized the liquid level and flow decoupling. The system has been running at the production site.

This paper introduces the method of on-line measurement of the yarn evenness using double CCD image sensors. The double sensors are mounted on a movable bracket of the small car. The obtained yarn coefficients of variation in the diameter through computer and digital image processing techniques are compared with those of using off-line USTERII evenness tester. Meanwhile, the CCD sensors, avoiding affection of the incident light intensity, overcome the shortcomings of the conventional photoelectric sensors. Combined with modern control theory and textile principal in technique, intelligent algorithm is added to collect and process real-time data of the on-line measuring device. The results show that the average error accuracy is about 4.5%. In addition, it is also found that the achieved data from the on-line device are coherent and correlative with USTER statistical bulletin 2001. The bad test results indicate that there are the thicker and thinner sections in yarn. On the contrary, the good results are expected and consistent with practice. The system, avoiding environmental temperature and humidity, has quick response, flexible and portable installation, simple use, friendly interface.
