Reprogramming over the network is an essential requirement in large-scale, long term wireless sensor network deployments. In this paper, we present LACONIC, a history-based code dissemination technique, for programmable wireless sensor networks supporting multiple applications. In order to attain network traffic abatement and timely code delivery, LACONIC exploits (1) application calling history and (2) code dissemination history. The application calling history is modeled by a Application Call Graph(ACG) which represents the calling relationships among multiple applications. Second, the code dissemination history as a set of observed previous code forwarding paths indicates previous code forwarding path of the associated application in the context of the application calling history. Therefore, the code request triggered by a requester is reached to the responder by traveling along the path, not being consecutively flooded. Using a flooding-based existing code dissemination work as the baseline, we show the effectiveness of Laconic in terms of network traffic and time delay through both probability model-based analysis and simulation results.

Recently, interactive media which tries to maximize the audience engagement has been widely distributed throughout the digital media environment. For example, developing and promoting a new participatory of media genre with higher immersion which can be applied to advertisement, film, game, and e-learning are actively researched. In this paper, we introduce a new interactive media authoring system that enables bidirectional communication between the user and the applications. This authoring system provides a modality interface which manages interactions between various modalities, i.e. which allows users to choose one or more modalities as inputs and to get other modalities as outputs. This system helps the user to engage with the media and minimizes the image producer-user constraints in various distribution enabled web environment via PC and smart devices, without additional equipment installation.

In the sensor network for supporting the low power high efficiency, this paper described about the sensor data managing method. The sensor node transmits sensing data to the sink node if it perceives the situation of a environment In this case, data are transmitted in case the periodic or the event is generated. Previously reported event data are maintained for the efficient data transmission. If the event which sets up the critical scope in advance and is occurred present exceeds the transfer event and critical scope, it determines as invalid data. By transmitting determined event data it can prevent from the lifetime of the sensor node being shortened by the frequent communication. Moreover, when it has the measured value and the value which is recognized in the error range because of being identical, it instead transmits the simplified data packet signal which is defined about data request of the network management system with measured value and the sensor node can reduce data transmission traffic.
