Due to the strength of bitcoin including the convenient payment and transfer, exchange into legal tender, low transfer fee, and others, its usage is increasing dramatically. Bitcoin is an e-money and virtual currency currently used as a means of payment in about 20,000 online companies and 1,000 offline stores as of Feb. 2014. Different from previous e-money, there is no issuing institution and it has trait of no regulation by countries or companies. However, as there is an increase in value of bitcoin followed by Cyprus financial crisis in past March, issues regarding the security breach on the rise. Since the exchange between legal tender and virtual currency is free in case of bitcoin, direct damage caused by security breach is very large. Also, as there is no governing institution, the user is responsible for all loss in case of damage occurrence. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to look into transaction method and security breach trend of bitcoin and its countermeasures.

In the future, advanced countries have expected that will face serious social problems such as public health, medical, welfare. The increase of chronic disease caused by would lead to increase in medical costs, and also the national financial burden, under this circumstances, would be largely. Therefore, the field of u-healthcare attracts the worlds attention, and advanced countries are supporting this u-healthcare project through (with) medical law revision. u-RPMS (USN Remote Patient Monitoring System) which study in this paper has emerged a new technology in the field of u-healthcare. The medical system using USN is aiming to send the data, which collected through body-mounted sensors of inside and outside, to the outside system which is able to monitor and manage the user, but there could be occurred any problems such as the private information leaks, loss and falsification. Therefore, we proposed biometric information security model used HIGHT encryption in order to solve these security vulnerabilities.

As the pan-government computational resources integrated building project of Korea in 2010, computational resources integrated building and use plan for 139 systems of 34 government departments using Cloud Computing are under way. Therefore, in this paper, we design Mobile Cloud Computing e-Gov using central government Cloud cluster by using WebSockets API newly added to HTML5. We build UCS performing Mobile Cloud Computing service directly and communicate Full Duplex with each organization WAS in Mobile Web of UCS directly. As a result, the model presented in this paper enables data push from the server of true meaning that was not fully realized in HTTP until now and materalizes interactive communiation in which real time performance of Web Application improves greatly.

Telemedicine system means a remote support system among 4 remote telemedicine services of u-Health. A currently available service in Korea is the one checking and maintaining patient’s status and supporting in emergency through video communication between an ambulance transferring patients and hospital under HSDPA and WiBro environment with coding of MPEG-2 and MPEG-4. With that, this paper improves the stability of the current telemedicine system service of ambulance confirms the improvement compared to the old system by generating a system communicating by RTP/RTCP under coding process through H.264/AVC after converting RGB video to YUV in order to improve network efficiency.

The system aimed at in this study is for high risk group of patients who require continuous medical checkups. For swift alert and informing to medical staff when a patient incurs abnormal medical condition, the system proposed in this study uses acceleration (tangent) algorithm the check any change in patient conditions. The researchers worked to identify any abrupt change by employing a computing formula based on body temperature/pulse/heartbeat/blood pressure measured by PHD, a biometrics measuring device attached to a patients body.

This study was intended to extend the existing research on u-RPMS(USN Remote Patient Monitoring System), which is used to send patients‘ biometric information to HIS (Hospital Information System) through smartphones, and thereby make u-RPMS interoperate with HIS, and develop hybrid web/app in order to use integrated medical service and patient monitoring service on the mobile environment. In the case of u-RPMS, the existing study results were used. And, hybrid web/app named MedIntegra Web(Medical Integra Web) project was implemented with the use of Sencha Touch framework and HTML5/CSS3. The finally implemented MedIntegra Web was able to provide remote patients‘ information and status on the mobile environment, and, especially, to help the location of an emergent patient.

We intend to design the interface for compatibility with HIS (Hospital Information System) by applying HL7 (Health Level 7) to u-RPMS (USN Remote Patient Monitoring System) system that collects the patients’ biometrics remotely and transmits them to smartphone finally. This means that the collected information of patients do not simply transmit to the remote site, but can be applied by the standardized system even when the patients visit the hospital. As the patients’ biometrics is also collected/processed though smartphone, we have designed them so that the efficiency of the medical institutions increases by the accurate and prompt provision of receipt and treatment.

To provide improved environment for medical information service, mobile devices can be used for delivering personal information to HIS (Hospital Information System). MII (Medical Integration Interface) of u-RPMS (ubiquitous Sensor Network Remote Patient Monitoring System) in the previous study plays such role as an interface. However, information may not be delivered due to difference in version of the medical data processing standard HL7(Health Level 7). In this paper, the compatibility according to the HL7 version of HIS was assessed when sending personal information via u-RPMS to HIS. As a result, it was found that it is compatible when the syntax of v2.x is sent to v3.0 by using XML(Extensible Markup Language)Parsing.

Abstract U-WHS refers to a means of remote health monitoring service to combine fitness with wellbing. U-WHS is a system which can measure and manage biometric information of patients without any limitation on time and space. In this paper, we performed in order to look into the influence that the encryption module influences on the communication evaluation in the biometric information transmission gone to the smart mobile device and Hospital Information System. In the case of the U-WHS model, the client used the Objective-c programming language for software development of iOS Xcode environment and SEED and HIGHT encryption module was applied. In the case of HIS, the MySQL which is the Websocket API of the HTML5 and relational database management system for the client and inter-server communication was applied. Therefore, in WIFI communication environment, by using wireshark, data transfer rate of the biometric information, delay and loss rate was checked for the evaluation. Key Words :

This study uses low-power, low-speed ZigBee sensors with defined network and application layers based on the media access and physical layers of Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPAN). ZigBee sensor nodes were connected to Personal Health Devices (PHD), which measure the biosignals of patients, to form a wireless network. We do not apply generalized ad-hoc routing protocols or tree structures but instead are proposing modified hop-count routing protocols using the WBSS characteristic of IEEE 802.11p. This is because sensor nodes operate from fixed positions and smartphones, which play the gateway role, has the characteristic of constantly shifting location, from the patient’s hand and ears to neraby desks. We used 3 PHDs (ECG, pulse and blood pressure) and connected ZigBee modules using external batteries to confirm whether normal service was being performed.
