A new water mite species Sperchon (Hispidosperchon) serapae n. sp. is described. The material was collected from a slow-flowing stream during field study on the water mite fauna of the Lakes region in southwestern Turkey. An updated list of hitherto known species of Sperchon Kramer from Turkey, including nomenclatural changes and numerous new locality records to the species, is also given.

Abstract A list of species of the water mitegenus Lebertia Neuman, 1880 known from Turkey is provided, based on bibliographical data and results from recent field work, mainly in the Southwestern part of the country. We describe one new species, Lebertia martini sp. n. and report new 28 locality records from 6 provinces for the three previously known species.

A new species of Acherontacarus (Acari, Hydrachnidia), Acherontacarus burduricus n. sp., is described from interstitial waters of a small karstic cavern, in Burdur province (southwestern Anatolia). This is the third record of the genus from Turkey.

Bu calismada, Antalya’nin Bati Akdeniz kiyilarindaki 8 istasyonda cesitli derinlik ve habitatlardan 5 Agauopsis turu tespit edilmistir. Bu turlerden Agauopsis nonornata , Akdeniz icin, Agauopsis brevipalpus , Agauopsis conjuncta , Agauopsis ibssi ve Agauopsis pteropes Dogu Akdeniz kiyilari icin yenidir. Her bir turun illustrasyonlari yapilmis, kisa tanimlari, habitat bilgileri ve dunyadaki dagilimlari verilmistir.

The genus Atelopsalis is reported for the first time from Turkey. The material examined in the present study was collected at Kas (36.157583° N, 29.630333° E) from 30 m depth on the West Coast of Antalya in Turkey. General information on the morphology of a protonymph of male Atelopsalis pacifica are described in this paper, with original illustrations.

Bu arastirmada, Burdur ili sinirlari icerisinde, 2013-2016 yillari arasinda yurutulen arazi calismalarinda 15 familyadan 80 su kenesi turu tespit edilmistir. En cok tur ile temsil edilen Hygrobatidae 20 tur ile faunanin %25’ini olusturmustur. Calismamizda belirlenen turlerinin familyalara gore dagilimi; Eylaidae 1, Hydrodromidae 1, Hydryphantidae 14, Sperchontidae 12, Anisitsiellidae 1, Lebertiidae 5, Torrenticolidae 5, Limnesiidae 2, Pionidae 2, Hygrobatidae 20, Aturidae 1, Unionicolidae 1, Oxidae 1, Mideopsidae 2 ve Arrenuridae 12 seklindedir.

In this study, there is a description of a new species, Protzia longiacetabulata n.sp., and P. squamosa Walter, 1908 representing a new Protzia record for the fauna of Turkey. Protzia longiacetabulata n.sp. is closest to the P. halberti from the P. rotunda species group and identified from these species by the number of the leg claws and acetabuli. Furthermore, there is the first description of the female of Atractides persicus Pesic & Asadi, 2010, for which there is a description from Iran of the male.
