Modeling and Analyzing of Railway Container Hub Scheduling System Based on Multi-agent System

Railway container hub scheduling system is a typical discrete element dynamic system (DEDS) which has the feature of high randomness, low flexibility, and uncertainty of operation time and high coordination demand of facilities. Multi-agent systems (MAS) have demonstrated their potential for solving complex problems which are asynchronism, concurrency, distributivity, parallel and overcome the disadvantages when faces complex discrete element dynamic system. According to the analysis of layout, establishment, facility and operation procedure of railway container hub, this paper chooses MAS as the basis to build the railway container hub scheduling system model, analyzes the function of each agent, and describes the schedule procedure analysis of agents.

Design of Container Seamless Transportation Based on RFID Technology

In order to improve the efficiency of container multimodal transportation, container seamless transportation design were put forward based on RFID technology in this paper. In which radio frequency identification (RFID) tag, reader-writer, middleware system are designed, then selected the frequency and type of RFID system used in container multimodal transportation, at last analyzed the function of RFID system in container transportation. The result suggests that container RFID system can promote the realization of container transport organization towards seamless cohesion, improve the efficiency of container transportation, RFID technology will be widely used in container transportation in future.

Research on Traffic Information Demand and Supply Analysis of Comprehensive Traffic Information Platform

Comprehensive Traffic Information platform(CTIP) is the core and information hinge of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). The CTIP provides accurate, real-time and reliable traffic information services for public, government and enterprises. According to the classification of traffic information supplier and demander, we analyze the information supply from the viewpoint of information supply department, information supply content and information supply approach, and analyze the information demand from the viewpoint of information type, information demand content, publishing approach and supplier number. By comparing the information supply and demand of CTIP, find the shortages of traffic information supply.

Analysis on key factors of container seamless transportation operating based on system dynamics

Container multimodal transportation system is a dynamic complicated system with multiple variables and nonlinear feedback loops and influenced by some factors. The efficiency of container multimodal transportation system will decrease if these factors mismatch with each other. In order to improve the level of container multimodal transportation system, analyzing the key factors of container seamless transportation operating is essential. It was shown that four main factors influenced container seamless transportation operating, which were resource allocation, optimized organization, information technology and policy system. It presents a system dynamics approach based on the cause-and-effect analysis and feedback loop structures. And it put forwards the SD model, graph of system causality and flowchart of container seamless transportation operating. The model runs in Vensim PLE software using the data from statistics and expert scoring. The investment in every factor is chosen as the control variable for simulation to forecast the level of container seamless transportation. In despite of the same investment in every factor, but influences on container seamless transportation operating were different. Results show that resource allocation factor was the most prominent. It provides the scientific reference to the optimized operation of the container seamless transportation.
