Study on Preparation of KGM-Based Microcapsule

The konjac glucomannan(KGM)-based microcapsules were prepared in the technical process with the main membrane of KGM and the core of VE by piercing method. The morphology, particle size and its distribution, embedding rate and drug loading, encapsulation yield of microcapsules were analyzed by biologic photomicroscope, laser diffract instrument and the infrared spectrum.

Study on Preparation and Optimization of Konjac Glucomannan Coated Soluble Drug

The invitro release properties of Cap were analysised by konjac glucomannan membrane. The preparation parameters were investigated by evaluation of the Cap release degree, selected and then confirmed the effects such as concentration of KGM, Cap, mixing time, laying-time, dry temperature, and used response surface analysis to optimize preparation parameters of membrane. The results showed that five factors had significant impact on the release degree of Cap, and the optimal conditions were 2.5%(w/v)KGM and 175g Cap mixed for 2h and laid for 1.5h, drying at 65℃. The predicted value of Cap release degree was 92.258%.

Relativity on Granularity and Molecule Characteristics of KGM

In this paper, the relativity on the granularity with different mesh of konjac glucomannan(KGM) and molecular dimension was discussed. Laser particle size analyzer and laser light scattering were used to analyze the granularity distribution and molecular characteristics of KGM. The results showed that the granularity of KGM was gradually decreased after gradient refining. The Mw of KGM was gradually decreased with its granularity decrease and its molecular conformation was from globular to linear structure.
