Statistical Analysis of the Behavior for Mobile E-learning☆

Abstract Evolution of mobile devices has led to the development of Mobile E-Learning. E-Learning platforms have been developed to be accessed from personal computers. Now the question is how to organize the content so that it can be accessed from mobile devices. To solve this problem is required a statistical analysis on accessing e-learning platforms on mobile devices. It was developed E-Learning platform with automated data collection and information on how it is accessed by the users. The application has been provided for testing to the students. Based on data obtained automatically building statistical analyzes highlight trends of use of Mobile E-Learning environment.

Metrics of Collaborative Business Systems in the Knowledge- based Economy☆

There are already accumulations in the business-oriented collaborative informatics systems that require switching to a new generation: data acquisition, increasing the diversity of people that access them, generalization of databases use, multimedia application development, the use of touch screen-friendly interfaces. This paper aims to define the characteristics of the new generation of collaborative business systems, combining semantic with artificial intelligence based on intelligent analysis of content. An architecture of business collaborative systems is presented and metrics are defined in order to realize a quantitative analysis of semantic-oriented business collaborative systems. Experimental results are analyzed to determine the systems behavior in the context of knowledge-based economy evolution.

Control of Metrics Design on Mobile Quality Application

Abstract Mobile applications structures are presented and their quality characteristics. The development cycle for m-applications is analyzed in the context of ensuring TQM requirements. A system of quality indicators of m-applications is designed and properties of these indicators are analyzed in relation to the operationality and representation of provided results. Practical arrangements for checking the metric for general classes of m-applications are established. The considered experiments come to emphasize the need to use metrics and the aggregate quality indicator.

Behavior characteristics of mobile web applications authenticated users

The Internet facilitates nowadays interaction and collaboration between persons located at very long distances from each other. It also facilitates interactions between software systems located at great distances. The key concept is the identification of the subject involved in the interaction. It is necessary to validate whether the person performing certain activities on a software system is the person entitled and not an unauthorized one. In this paper we propose a study of the actual context in user authentication domain, in various online applications. Therefore, the purpose of this document is to provide stakeholders (software developers) the characteristics on users conduct within online mobile applications. Based on these features, specific profiles can be created for each user. By using the completed profiles, we can achieve recognition models based on user behavior.

Assigning Weights for Quality Software Metrics Aggregation

Abstract The description of quality software metrics is presented. Based on a set of quality characteristics, specialized and application oriented characteristics systems are built. For each characteristic there are countless level estimation models, from which a significant one is debated. A model in which the codomain is between [0,1] is selected for each characteristic correlated with a high level of orthogonality in relation to other characteristics that are part of the system. An aggregate indicator with the codomain between [0,1] is built using weights that create a more comprehensive overview of software quality. The importance of defining techniques for weights calculation is presented. The properties obtained for the weights are analyzed using different techniques.
