Envelhecimento e qualidade de vida: análise da produção científica da SciELO

Scientific production is a continuous process of discovery and democratization of knowledge for the scientific community and society. Metascientific studies have become an important evaluation tool. A total of 69 articles on aging and quality of life were analyzed, considering: title, authorship, authors gender, knowledge area, and journal. Some statistically significant differences in the results were: titles up to 12 words; multiple authors and female authors. There was a concentration of publishing in the areas of Psychology and Medicine. The Journal of Public Health was predominant in the area of Health Sciences in relation to the Humanities. Titles and multiple authors were adequate, however, female production was higher. Psychology, Medicine and the Journal of Public Health were the areas of knowledge and the journal that published more on the subject. It was concluded that systematic evaluation of the production, from author to the study design, can help to establish a research policy in the area. Índice de desenvolvimento humano e qualidade de vida de idosos frequentadores de universidades abertas para a terceira idade

Objetivo: Verificar a relacao entre IDH e qualidade de vida de idosos. Metodo: Estudo transversal, quantitativo-descritivo de campo, com 182 idosos, de ambos os generos, ≥ 60 anos, frequentadores de Universidades Abertas para a Terceira Idade, dos municipios de Sao Caetano do Sul, Sao Paulo e Mogi das Cruzes. A qualidade de vida foi avaliada pelo WHOQOL - BREF. Foram utilizados os testes estatisticos Kruskal-Wallis e Mann-Whitney, adotando-se nivel de significância de 5%. Resultados: Nao houve diferenca estatisticamente significante quando comparada a qualidade de vida dos idosos dos tres municipios entre si; houve no dominio ambiental comparando-se Sao Caetano com os outros municipios; e nos dominios social e ambiental comparando-se Sao Caetano com Mogi. Conclusao: Concluiu-se que a influencia do IDH sobre os dominios social e ambiental nao foi percebida pelos idosos, o que pode representar uma barreira para a busca de uma melhor qualidade de vida em seus municipios.We investigated the relationship between “human development” and quality of life of elderly in a cross-sectional, quantitative-descriptive study, with 182 elderly of both genders, ≥ 60 years, attending the Universities of the Third Age, in districts A, B, C. The quality of life was evaluated by WHOQOL–BREF. Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney statistical tests were applied, considering a significance level of 5%. There was no statistically significant difference when comparing the quality of life of the three districts together; there was in environmental domain when comparing A with the other districts; and in social and environmental domains when comparing A with C. It was concluded that the “human development”, measured by HDI, influenced on the quality of life of elderly in social and environmental domains, and the best results were obtained among the inhabitants of A and B, compared to the inhabitants of C.

Análise de conteúdo das sessões de comunicação científica do I Congresso Nacional de Psicologia Escolar

Summary Esta pesquisa analisou o conteudo das sessoes de comunicacao cientifica. Juizes: duas psicologas e professoras de Psicologia Escolar; Material: os Anais do I Congresso Nacional de Psicologia Escolar; Procedimento: o material foi analisado independentemente pelos juizes (r o = 0,87). Os resultados evidenciaram maior frequencia em pesquisas do tipo de levantamento; os temas concentraram-se em Psicologia Escolar; o local e os sujeitos mais investigados foram o 10 grau e o aluno; e os conteudos destacados foram Psicologia Escolar e Aluno. Conclui-se que ha necessidade de estudos mais sofisticados sobre o assunto. Palavras-chave: Analise de conteudo, producao cientifica, literatura cinzenta. Abstracts These research analysed the content of cientific communicatioDS. Judges: two psychologists and teacher of School Psychology, too; Material: the Annual of I Congresso Nacional de Psicologia Escolar; Procedure: the material was analysed by judges (ro= 0,87). The results point out the most frequency in researchs of survey; the themes was in School Psychology; the local and subjects more investigated were the first degree and the student; and the detach contents were in School Psychology and Student. These concludes that is necessary more sofisticated studies about these matter.

Prática Baseada em Evidências em Psicologia e Idosos: Conceitos, Estudos e Perspectivas

O presente artigo teve por objetivo apresentar o desenvolvimento historico do movimento da Pratica Baseada em Evidencias em Psicologia, bem como a integracao deste modelo a atuacao psicoterapica junto a populacao idosa. O conceito de pratica baseada em evidencias e, um dos temas que tem sido amplamente discutido na literatura internacional da psicologia. Nestas discussoes, com poucas excecoes, compreende-se que a relevância da pratica psicoterapica depende intimamente de evidencias que indiquem o resultado de suas intervencoes. Com a populacao idosa nao deveria ser diferente, contudo, apesar do aumento da procura por servicos clinicos por parte desta faixa-etaria, o processo psicoterapico com idosos ainda e pouco discutido pelos profissionais da psicologia, o que tem produzido incertezas e pouca confiabilidade nas intervencoes realizadas. Deste modo, o artigo apresenta o desenvolvimento historico do conceito de Pratica Baseada em Evidencias em Psicologia, as influencias cientificas, clinicas e de associacoes de classes neste desenvolvimento, bem como a integracao deste modelo a pratica clinica com a populacao idosa, demonstrando-se os principais estudos existentes e as perspectivas para a obtencao de evidencias empiricas do resultado psicoterapico para esta populacao.

Scientific production and context of Master on Sciences of Aging at São Judas University

The integral approach to issues related to the elderly requires knowledge production and skilled labor. The establishment of graduate programs for gerontology and geriatrics area is the answer that educational institutions have offered. The goal of this article is to present what has been produced on Master on Sciences of aging at Sao judas Tadeu University, in Sao Paulo. The annual reports of Capes, between 2010 and 2014, were the material on intelectual production, comprising complete articles and abstracts published in scientific journals and proceedings of national and international events on aging and related areas, was raised, tabulated and analyzed independently by two professors. a total of 74 publications in journals, 280 productions in national and 57 in international events, mostly held on co-authored by researchers from different areas and levels of expertise, including the involvement of external professional contribution to the institution, is distributed in a balanced way throughout this period of time. It is observed disparity in the number of projects and researchers involved when considered the two research lines proposed by the program, with greater participation of the one that deals with educational, psychological and socio-cultural compared to the line that studies the biological and functional aspects of aging. The analyzed production reveals a broad scope of topics researched, in which it was seek the knowledge of methods and understanding interface of research results, which are also the goals for the continuation of studies within the interdisciplinary focus.
