A Context Based Dynamic Access Control Model for Web Service

Chaowang Shang; Zongkai Yang; Qingtang Liu; Chengling Zhao

Web service is a new service-oriented computing paradigm which poses the unique security challenges due to its inherent heterogeneity and highly dynamic nature. A key challenge in Web service security is the design of effective access control schemas. However, traditional role-based access control (RBAC) model can not meet the dynamic and context sensitivity features of Web service demands. In this paper, we propose a context based dynamic role based access control model (CDACM) for Web service. Our approach grants and adapts permissions to users based on a set of contextual information collected from environments of the system and users. The model can consummate the privilege management for Web services access control, effectively enhance the security for Web services applications and produce more perfect mechanism of access control for Web services.

Construct Personal Learning Environment Based on Web2.0

Feng Wang; Xiayuan Li; Chengling Zhao; Chunyan Xu

This paper explains some of the ideals and characters about PLE (Personal Learning Environment). And introduce web2.0 social software and technology to construct PLE, where there is the difficulty for learners to integrate these dispersive tools and technologies. So it proposes a framework for an open source Personal Learning Environment which is called PLEF. The emphasis is on the process to build PLE in the PLEF. The final section provides a chart of my own PLE based on web2.0 as an example to explain how it accelerates my study. KeywordsPLE;Web2.0; Social Software;PLEF

Personal knowledge management (PKM) plays a very important role in improving individualpsilas skills and ability. While Web2.0 is centered in user experience, creating knowledge and two-ways communication, thus Web2.0 concepts seem to be an ideal fit with Nonakas SECI approach opening new doors for PKM systems. According to analyzing the PKM and characters of Web2.0, this paper integrates web2.0 into PKM, presents a new PKM model, and proposes the technology architecture of the model on the basis of illustrating the opportunity provided by web2.0 to PKM in the perspective of Nonakas SECI approach. Finally the paper takes an application example of iGoogle to show Web2.0 is more benefit to realize a more personal, dynamic, convenient and feasible personal knowledge management system.

4G Technology Promote Mobile Learning for New Development

Libin He; Chengling Zhao

Mobile learning is a new learning model following the e-learning. How to assist mobile learning with new mobile communication technology effectively has been a hot spot in the modern educational research. In this paper the author introduced fourth-generation mobile communication technology and mobile learning briefly, then made some mobile learning models which based on 4G technology, and gave some examples for these models. At last, the author summarized the advantages for 4G technology in the development of mobile learning. All of above would be hoped to provide some helpful references for the educators working in mobile-learning.

SAML Based Unified Access Control Model for Inter-platform Educational Resources

Chaowang Shang; Zongkai Yang; Qingtang Liu; Chengling Zhao

The construction and effective application of net based educational resources are of great importance for e-learning. SOA (service oriented architecture) enables the reuse and share of net based educational resources by publishing the resources as web services. However, frequent identity authentications in resources access among different providers take up overfull system resources and lower the implementation efficiency. We propose a unified access control model (UACM) based on SAML and security access control technology. UACM meets the requirement of effective access to educational resources and reduces the cost of construction.

Construction of a Web-based virtual classroom and its effective analysis

Qingtang Liu; Chengling Zhao; Zongkai Yang

In classroom, information between teachers and students includes course content and learning scene. Course content is mainly information, and learning scene is assisted information that can effectively prompt learners exchanging idea and acquiring knowledge. A based-Web virtual classroom should have the same features. Because of the limitation of bandwidth and QoS of network, it is very difficult to transfer teaching and learning information by video in Internet. The paper probes into a strategy of developing virtual classroom by the streaming media technologies. By contrast with two kinds of information, the Web-based virtual classroom we built includes two parts: real time teaching environment (RTTE) and collaborating learning environment (CLE). RTTE transports course content and feedback information into teachers or students. This paper firstly discusses the strategies of creating a virtual classroom for the remote learners. Secondly, it designs the architecture of a virtual classroom.

Construction of informal learning environment model based on SNS

Chengling Zhao; Mingfeng Cheng; Wei Wang; Fan Zhang

The article combines SNS and informal learning for the first time, it first describes informal learning based on SNS, then proposes four organization forms of informal learning, and tries to construct an SNS-based informal learning environment model according to the function of a variety social network software as well as the information transmission process, finally, it reveals an example which takes Blog as the center to provide integration guidance for people, we hope that our research can promote learners learn through SNS-based environment effectively and link daily work and life to learning consciously

The Research on Network Teaching Evaluation Based on Fuzzy Synthesis

Haimei Wei; Feng Wang; Chengling Zhao; Ling Jiang; Wei Lu

The construction and improvement of teaching evaluation system is a very important part of teaching work in recent years. Along with the constant development of network-based study, a comprehensively scientifically and objective evaluation is increasingly important. To establish an evaluation system of network teaching is the needs of scientific management of teaching quality. Moreover, the study on the comprehensive evaluation of fuzzy mathematics is a new developing field in recent years, which aims at evaluating the appraisal object objectively, fairly, reasonably. Therefore, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation in network teaching is of great significance. By using different evaluated methods, the paper tries to find out a network teaching evaluation model which is based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, aiming at evaluating the network teaching fairly and reasonably.
