To return the ecological function of Wan Abdul Rachman Forest Park, it must be involved the role of buffer zone communities living around the forest by optimizing the cultivated land with applying agro-forestry based on socioeconomic conditions in the community, such as community preferences and adoption of agro-forestry patterns. Under these conditions it is necessary to hold a study concerning to the level of community preference to the type of plants and the level of adoption, as well as the NPV analysis of the 3 patterns of agro-forestry which are applied by the majority of community around the forest park. Results of the study revealed that there were 3 dominant plant types preferred by the community in the forest park, namely: coffee (30.8%), cacao (35.8%), and rubber (17.4%). Based on these crops, there were 3 agro-forestry patterns practiced by the majority of community in their cultivated land. They were: (1) coffee-cacao-wooden plants, and fruits (47%), (2) rubber-coffee-wooden plants, and fruit (35%), and (3) rubber-cacao-wooden plants, and fruit (18%). The highest personal and social NPVs obtained in the agro-forestry pattern of rubber-coffee-wooded plants, and fruits were IDR4.589.627.36 and IDR6.454.806.01, respectively. To ensure the sustainability of the program, the development of communities living around the forest together with a program of community empowerment in the block of utilization and social forestry in the forest park are recommended to continue, based on the Regional Regulation (PerDa) Number. 3/2012.

One of the efforts of subsistence forest communities is through interaction with the forest. Experience and habit of managing forests form a system of knowledge of ecological knowledge of communities to manage and use resources wisely. Local ecological knowledge that is not yet known and well documented, so it needs to be investigated . The purpose of this study is to identify and obtain a description of local ecological knowledge about soil and water conservation in order to utilize Tahura neighborhood Wan Abdul Rachman by Wana Karya farmers group . Software used Agroecological Knowledge Toolkit 5 (AKT 5). The method used in the study sample was purposive sampling with 36 respondents. The data obtained were processed by the application AKT 5 to obtain a model of local ecological knowledge. Local ecological knowledge of farmer groups Wana forest managers work in soil and water conservation techniques is terracing and building rorak . Datar Setuju Resort is the one of six resort located in Register 39KPHL Batutegi. This area is managed by implementing agroforestry system Research aims to determine amount of stock carbon applied by publics in Register 39 Datar Setuju, held on March 2015 at Register 39 Datar Setuju KPHL Batutegi Tanggamus Regency. Beside to knowing amount of the stock carbon, this research also conducted to determine the dominant vegetation. Reseachers used Summed Dominance Ratio (SDR) and Importance Value Index (IVI ) methods to determine the most dominant vegetations and used allometric equation to find out amount biomass and necromass of trees. Research results show that the most domi nant vegetation on tree phase was cemara (Casuarina junghuniana) IVI large was 109,91%, for pale phase was dadap (Erythrina sp.) IVI large was 300%, for stake phase was k opi (Coffea arabica) IVI large was 300%, and for seedling phase was rumput t eki (Cyperus rotundus) IVI large was 200%. Stock carbons at agroforestry system area Register 39 Datar Setuju KPHL Batutegi on HKm Sinar Harapan amount of 123,33 ton/ha, on HKm Bina Wana Jaya 1 amoun t of 265,20 ton/ha, and of HKm Bina Wana Jaya 2 amount o f 146,20 ton/ha, average of stock carbon valueat Register 39 Datar Setuju amount of 178,24 ton/h a.
