Self-Control and Pornography Behavior Among Junior High School Student

Pornography behavior by adolescents, tends to increase. This research aimed to study the influence of adolescence’s self-control on the pornography behavior. The study used a cross-sectional research design. Respondents who qualify as many as 278 boys and 322 girls. Multiple linear regression tests applied to check the effect of self-control on the pornography behavior. Result demonstrated a significant and negative correlation between selfcontrol and pornography behavior. Variable self-control also showed its influence to decrease pornography behavior. Selfcontrol is the ability of people to protect themselves from something that is not good. The self-control in adolescence, can decrease the behavior of pornography.

ANALISIS SOSIALISASI AKADEMIK DAN MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI ANAK USIA SEKOLAH PADA KELUARGA DI PEDESAAN

Abstract: This study aims at analyzing academic dissemination and achievement motivation in school-age children in rural families. The subject of this study is a complete family who has children in an elementary school chosen randomly through proportional method amounting to 100. The results showed that parents and teachers are still low in instilling the value of education. Another thing from the study showed a significant positive correlation between the academic dissemination of parents and teachers with the dimensions of intrinsic achievement motivation. In addition, the results found that the academic socialization of parents influences the intrinsic achievement motivation. Keywords: achievement motivation, academic socialization of teachers, parents Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis sosialisasi akademik dan motivasi berprestasi anak usia sekolah pada keluarga di pedesaan. Subyek penelitian ini adalah keluarga lengkap yang memiliki anak yang bersekolah di SD terpilih yang dipilih melalui metode acak proporsional yang berjumlah 100. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan orang tua dan guru masih rendah dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai pendidikan. Hal lain dari penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif signifikan antara sosialisasi akademik orang tua dan guru dengan dimensi motivasi berprestasi intrinsik. Selain itu, hasil menemukan bahwa sosialisasi akademik orang tua berpengaruh terhadap motivasi berprestasi intrinsik. FUNGSI KELUARGA DAN GEJALA STRES REMAJA DENGAN LATAR BELAKANG PENDIDIKAN PRASEKOLAH BERBEDA

As a period of identity crisis and emotional unstability, instrumental and expressive functions by parents are important key to guide adolescents to achieve their developmental tasks. This study aimed to analyze correlation between i nstrumental and expressive functions of parents and stres symptoms among adolescent with different background of preschool education. Participants of this study consists of 91 adolescents who graduates from Semai Benih Bangsa (SBB) preschool group (n=31) and formal kindergarten group (n=30), and also adolescent who did not had preschool education background (n=30). The result found that stres symptomps in the third group of adolescent were catogorized as low level. There is significant difference between the three group of adolescent in instrumental function that conducted by parents but theres is no significant difference in expressive function. The stres symptomps of adolescents had negative significant correlation with mother’s age. Meanwhile, family income had positive significant correlation with instrumental function and mother’s age had negative significant correlation with expressive function of parents.
