Early marriage family refer to united people by blood or adoption, consisting of husband, wife, children and other family members in which one of husband or wife or both of them are married under 20 years old. The purpose of this study was to analyze the correlation and the influence of economic pressure and coping strategy on family strength among early marriage family. The study was conducted in the Cihideung Udik village and Tegal Waru village, Ciampea Sub District, Bogor Distr. The samples of this research were families who the husband or wife or both were under 20 years old when they were married and had children who aged 0-6 years old. There were 70 mothers of sample families as respondents. This research showed that the family economic pressures were in the the medium category, family coping strategies were in the low category, and family strength were in the medium category. Family strength affected by length of marriage, number of family member, and economic pressure. Moreover, the number of family members and length of marriage had a significant positive influence on family strength. On the other hand, economic pressures had a significant negative influence on family strength. Further research is expected to involve husband in interviews and to involve some variables that can give a comprehensive empirical evidence to explore the life of early marriage family; such as family resource management, family adjustment, intimacy of married couples, and child development of young couples.

Aim of this study is to examine the influence of marital adjustment and family function toward family strength in early marriage. Research was located in Cibeber II village and Karehkel village, Leuwiliang sub-district, Bogor district, West Java. Samples of this study are 60 mothers from an early marriage family (under 20 years old) whose children are under five years old, and willingly participate in this study. Samples were chosen purposively. There is of correlation showed that age of husbands and age of husbands when married were negative significant correlation with family strength. Income per capita, marital adjustment, and family function were positive significant with family strength. The objective of this study was to assess the micronutrient and nutritional status among female adolescents having low birth weight history and normal birth weight history. Research design for this particular research was nested cohort in community level. Subjects was chosen by simple randomization, based on data collected by Frontiers for Health Foundation and Padjajaran University, Bandung. The measurement of micronutrients status (Hb, retinol plasma, and urinary iodine excretion), anthropometric, history of disease, semi quantitative food frequency questionnaire was collected to make comparison between female young adolescent with low birth weight and normal birth weight history. The prevalence of iron deficiency anemia (IDA), vitamin A deficiency (VAD), and iodine deficiency among all subjects were 9.9%, 12.9%, and 40.7%, respectively. The mean concentration of blood hemoglobin, plasma retinol and iodine excretion were not significantly different between low birth weight (LBW) and normal birth weight (NBW) group. Nutritional status, disease during the last three months, current nutritional status, food intake and onset of menstruation were not significantly different between group. In conclusion, micronutrient status, nutritional status, food intake and morbidity status in female adolescents with LBW and NBW history were not different.
