Secure login by using One-time Password authentication based on MD5 Hash encrypted SMS

The combination of One Time Password (OTP), SMS Gateway, and MD5 Hash encryption algorithm are used to develop a more secured login procedure to access the web-based Academic Information System. The code to be encrypted consists of Student ID, phone number, and access time. The System needs three minutes for security login with SMS-based OTP. The constraint is narrowing the time for hackers to tap and infiltrate. This delay time is an average obtained from the survey among several service providers in Indonesia. The code generated from the system is better than Pseudo Random Number Generator (PRNG) in that the resulting code is never the same.

Using GPS and Google maps for mapping digital land certificates

Google maps API provides many features for manipulating maps and adding content to the map through a variety of services that allows to create a mapping application. This paper discusses the use of the Google maps API to connect the land site listed in the certificate of land with Google maps so that the location of the land can be determined accurately. The method used in this research is the research and development (R&D) method with dynamic system approach. The applications were made aiming to help the Land Officer and the public to know the location of the land digitally. The utilization of GPS technology is used to determine the coordinate points of the boundary in the form of latitude and longitude accordance with the existing situation in the field. The advantage of mapping digital land certificates is not only to know the land site, but also get the information contained in the map and make map-making is much cheaper because they do not need to use a lot of tools, maintenance, in addition to the storage media practically do not need more space. The digital land certificate mapping application resulted in this research can be used supplemental to the current official application, but the precision of this application is still the problem for this research, and still continuously determined.

Analisis Peranan User Pada Proses SDLC Terhadap Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Perjalanan Dinas

Abstract. The user involvement in information system development has an important role to develop some systems. The user involvement also has an important role to determine whenever the system is executed properly or not. SDLC is a procedure used to describe a process that occurs during the manufacturing the system. SDLC Process has some phases, they are Project Selection & Planning, Analysis, Design, and Testing & Deployment. The Objective of this study is to understand how much percentage from the user involvement that occur during the information system developing process. The result from this paper is an analysis result from the user involvement that occurs during the information system developing using the SDLC model. Keywords: Information System, SDLC, User Involvement. Abstrak. Peranan dari user terhadap pengembangan sebuah sistem informasi memiliki peranan yang penting dalam proses pembuatan sebuah sistem. Peranan dari user juga menentukan apakah sistem yang dibangun sudah terpenuhi sesuai dengan kebutuhan atau belum. SDLC merupakan sebuah prosedur yang digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan sebuah proses yang terjadi selama pembuatan sebuah sistem. Proses SLDC memiliki beberapa fase seperti Project Selection and Planning, Analysis, Design, dan Testing & Deployment. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui seberapa besar persentase dari keterlibatan user selama proses pembangunan sistem informasi perjalanan dinas. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu berupa sebuah hasil analisis terhadap keterlibatan user dalam proses pembangunan sistem informasi menggunakan model SDLC.
