This study discusses the elements that enable another way of understanding administrative phenomena through a description workup of phenomenology and the phenomenological method. Thus, the object is to present the main contributions and possibilities of phenomenology to organizational studies. It analyzes in detail considerations of phenomenology in general and the various types of specific phenomenological methods, seeking to clarify the philosophy that exists in these themes to assist researchers in their daily work. It also discusses phenomenological and eidetic reduction. These reductions are vital for removing man from his natural attitude. Another issue the article broaches is the implementation of the method of phenomenological philosophy into the realm of empirical research. In this context comes the latest topic to be addressed, which is in line with the aims of this study, discussing the use of phenomenology in the context of management. To illustrate it, several studies are presented on phenomenology and a specific empiric phenomenological method in the field of organizational studies. Thus, the theme of this article has been pinpointed, and it is now necessary to move on to other possibilities.

Online social networks made up of actors with different degrees of innovativeness may allow knowledge management to collect new ideas and measure their acceptance. This research investigates consumer innovativeness and relationships with the uses and participation in social networks. This research has a quantitative exploratory scope, and among the main findings, we can mention that the dimensions of the adopted scale were corroborated by using factor analysis. The findings cannot be generalized, but there are evidences that relationship between social networking and innovative consumer behavior exists. Although there are limitations, correlations were found between the social dimension of innovativeness and information search in the networks and also the use of social networking information for the decision to purchase new products.

Scientific research in strategy, over time, has undergone transformations that can be analyzed as a trend in the production of knowledge in this field. This evolution takes place via the attempt to formulate a strategic knowledge toward for dynamics organizations and environments. Thus, the strategic knowledge developed so far is related to several tools to assist managers in decision-making process. However, there is strategy in other dimensions that exist per se and in themselves, but for various reasons are explored so little depth, as the strategist. This happens not for lack of interest among researchers, but by the needs of a practical nature, which are driven by the capitalist mode of production - ideology. This occurs when science studies the reality brought, not the origin or first principles. Thus, this paper investigates how the process strategy research, with the finding of the predominance of a functionalist view of research on this phenomenon. Given this context, emerged the need to to approach the topic from other perspectives, such as interpretation, for example. Thus, we intend to propose a other way to access the phenomenon from the strategic use of social phenomenology. This aspect, which belongs to the interpretative guidance paradigm, addressing issues such as intersubjectivity, alter ego, the world of life, the process of signification, typification, behavior and social action, motivation theory, construction of schemes typical ideas that have great potential to contribute to advance the understanding of the holistic strategy. The interpretive paradigm offers something extra to the strategy seeking to understand the phenomenon in light of the strategic strategist of subjectivity, considering his substantive rationality and life experience. It is noteworthy that this look is a proposal for further studies from other line of research paradigm. This approach did not show greater or lesser relevance to the current functionalist line. Therefore, this study intends to contribute to the advancement of research in strategy, although its scope is introductory, developing an innovative approach to the proposed strategic phenomenon.

Women are gaining space in the public sphere, in relation to the labor market and social representations. In this context, the mineral extraction sector stands out, as it has been accepting women in all its functional extensions. Given this, we intend to analyze the process of gender relations in the organizational context of a mining company. Discussions that guide the study of gender relations and subjectivity in work are used as reference. Research methodology is based on social phenomenology as conceived by Alfred Schutz. We conclude that women have managed gains in the mining industry, but these achievements are due to masculinization, as in fact there is no respect and appreciation for their differences. The legitimacy of womens work occurs only according to existing standards of male performance. Thus, this work is relevant in its contribution to scientific research on gender, and to study the relationships between men and women in an environment with such unique characteristics as the mining industry. In addition, the work features a unique use of phenomenology in social research on gender and might serve as a reference for future investigations.
