The theme is a recent and little discussed in contemporary society, the environmental issue involving the burial of human bodies being the subject of many studies aimed at identifying sources of contamination caused by them. This work aims to address all issues involving cemeteries, still unknown to many people but of paramount importance for public health. Since the local necropolis burial of corpses, there are risks contamination of soil, air and water resources by necrochorume and putrefaction gases originated, if the means of burial or the area is not suitable for this purpose. Only after the approval of CONANA Resolution 335/2003 this issue began to receive the necessary attention. There are several types of cemeteries, and the most common traditional, parks or gardens where the body is in direct contact with the ground , vertical , those with better efficiency in terms of environment and health of the surrounding population , and the culture of the people determinant for the choice of the same factord.

The aim of this study is to assess the feasibility of a system of ETE compact rather than a conventional system of sewage treatment plants already established in the country in the treatment of sewage, considering its cost, efficiency and demand space. Systems compared in this analysis are: ETE Goianira, conventional system; ETE Gold Fields, compact system. The station Gold Fields has not reached the efficiency of the conventional system, but the results are in accordance with what is established by environmental legislation. The ETE is more compact deployment cost and maintenance, but the difference does not make it unfeasible due to return in the occupation of space, which is substantially favorable compared to conventional stabilization ponds ETE Goianira.

Mechanical Viability of Replacement of Sand by Ground Glass in Concrete

Fernando Ernesto Ucker; Felipe Corrêa Veloso dos Santos

The objective of this work was to evaluate the mechanical feasibility and applicability of the replacement of sand by ground glass in the manufacture of concrete. For this, the characterization of the materials that compose the concrete was performed, as well as the glass reused from bottles longnecks, which was the material adopted in this research as a sustainable alternative. After the characterization of the materials according to the applicable national standards, concrete samples were run with different percentages of sand replacement by glass (5%, 10% and 50%) and a concrete without glass as a reference sample. For each concrete, specimens were molded, which passed through the curing process and were tested at compression rupture at the ages of 7 and 28 days. With the results obtained by the rupture of the test specimens, statistical analyzes were carried out to deterRecebido em 26/09/2016 Aceito em 02/05/2017 RECEN 19(1) p.46-55 jan/jun 2017 DOI:10.5935/RECEN.2017.01.04 UCKER, F. E. e SANTOS, F. C. V. mine the differences between the means, and the Tukey test was applied at the 5% level of significance. Thus, it was possible to observe that the partial substitution of sand by glass in the concrete is mechanically viable, since it produces similar and even superior results regarding the compressive strength, considering that it is an easily obtainable, non-returnable material, requiring disposal Adequate, in addition to the increasing need for improvement in the sustainable techniques of concrete production in civil construction.

This article presents a study of technical and economic feasibility of recirculation of washing water filters Water Treatment Plant City Goianesia -GO. Through laboratory tests the raw water and filtered water washing water after use in the filter was determined that the wash water could be used for recirculation in the system, it is necessary to make one settling tank, which was calculated so that the total volume would supply flushing of all the filters for one day and one lift was designed to pump water to enter the system. After technical analysis confirm that there is feasibility for the deployment of the system was made an economic analysis if the investment to be made for the implementation of the system would be economically feasible and what would be the period when there is water utility (SANEAGO) could profit in deployment. After the economic evaluation of the best alternative is concluded that ETA for the relevant recirculating water from the washing of filters is both economically and technically feasible. The return on investment with the implementation of this system will be 14 years and 9 months for the worst case scenario analysis (based financing from BNDES to 13.5 % and considering only the savings of pumps.

The study of contamination of soil and surface water resources and / or by underground cemeteries is an area still fresh in the scientific community. The main contaminant is necrochorume generated from the decomposition process of the human body over a period of time. This study aimed to determine the range of variation of the concentration of some metals in soil profiles. We used the technique of Fluorescence Spectroscopy Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDXRF) evaluated in 70 soil samples. The study area was a cemetery located in Seberi in the northwest of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Parana Basin, in Oxisols red ferric aluminum originated from the weathering of volcanic rocks, basalts forming the type of the Serra Geral Aquifer System / SGAS. The selection of the sampling sites was estimated from the preferential flow of surface water, using the mathematical method of kriging interpolation. We considered 10 collection points distributed between the ground surface to a depth of 300 cm, in materials with stony clay matrix to the C horizon Metals Aluminium and Iron and Vanadium nonmetal showed varying concentrations in different depths of the soil profile.

The increases achieved in agricultural production are due to the use of technology and the advancement of new frontiers. Part of this expansion is the substitution of pastures and natural vegetation. Some of these areas are situated in the floodplains and environmental point of view are of extreme importance, as are areas of recharge and maintenance of water from rivers and streams in the watershed where they are located . The aim of this study was to conduct a review of the origin and significance of microrrelevos of mounds . It was observed that there is still the need for public policies aimed at raising awareness of producers in the region about the ecological and economic importance of these microrrelevos in the region as well as the training of technicians who provide assistance to farmers . Allied policies of awareness on the part of government needs is to foster research on this topic , since little is known about the micro relief of this region . In studies on the physical aspects phytophysiognomies soil must be addressed , as these will be of crucial interest to managers in decision making about the use and occupation of land.

The civil engineering works have shown in several industrial systems segments, as in this case running topping a metallic structure, which potentially relates directly to the use of the conventional method of execution. This work aims to facilitate the use of the system coverage in Steel Structure Roll-On. To achieve the goal, we use specific literature searches in order to submit a work of large method of execution coverage roll-on metallic structure, presenting their construction techniques, material specifications, which cover members of the parties and case study with presentation of figures , getting a better understanding of the particularities of this system. The work will be studied in Shopping Sightseeing Waters, located in Goias Avenue to North Perimeter, with approximately 70,000.00 square meters of coverage roll-on metallic structure. It is considered a work of great size, and very complex because of the many curves in its architectural structure , its numerous lifts , technical slabs , and two skylights (Works of Art), which cause many detachments of uprights , beams , different patterns of flashings and drip pans , numerous reinforcements in the roof structure and several cuts on beams Roll -On . The choice of construction method for the project under study, will be addressed during the review, explaining why the acceptance of a totally new design, with execution parameters in the categories of time, cost and distinct quality in relation to the most comprehensive method on the market Goias, conventional.
