Abstract Whiteflies (Aleyrodidae) are some of the most potentially detrimental pests for agricultural crops and the ornamental plant industry in the southeastern U.S. Generic and species-level identification can be difficult for entomology identifiers that have not received specialized training, but correct identification is essential for (1) the detection of exotic, invasive species and (2) providing proper management recommendations for established pest problems. In order to assist in the identification of commonly occurring specimens in the southeastern U.S. and promote the early detection of exotic species, a generic level key with corresponding distribution records has been developed for thirty four genera and/or whitefly species. Photographs of slide-mounted specimens are provided for each species.

The following 7 new species of the family Tenuipalpidae are described and illustrated: Brevipalpus andrewsi Evans New Species, Brevipalpus cromroyi, Evans New Species, Brevipalpus hondurani Evans New Species, Brevipalpus ochoai Evans New Species, Tenuipalpus bakerdeleonorum New Species, Tenuipalpus hondurensis New Species New Species, and Tenuipalpus molinai Evans New Species. Forty new host records and 20 new distribution records are reported for Honduran tenuipalpid species. Keys to the 4 genera and 32 Honduran species of tenuipalpids are provided. The following species: Tenuipalpus rhysus Baker & Pritchard, Brevipalpus phoenicoides Gonzalez and Brevipalpus tlaxensis Baker and Tuttle were found to be junior synonyms of Tenuipalpus bakeei McGregor, Brevipalpus phoenicis (Geijskes) and Brevipalpus pini Baker, respectively. Notes on the biology, distribution and host symptomatology of the various species are included.

Abstract Forty-six species, belonging to 30 different genera of aphids, are reported from Honduras. Of these, 26 represent new distribution records for Honduras. A list of the plant hosts in Honduras on which the aphid species were collected is included.

Five parasite species, including two new species, Encarsia bellottii Evans and Castillo, n. sp. and Amitus macgowni Evans and Castillo, n. sp. were reared from Aleurotrachelus socialis Bondar on cassava, Manihot esculenta, in Colombia. E. bellottii was also reared from Trialeurodes variabilis (Quaintance) on cassava. The new species are described and illustrated.

Abstract A new species of the genus Fidiobia reared from the eggs of Diaprepes doublierii collected in Dominica is described and illustrated. A key to the New World species of the genus Fidiobia, a host and distribution table of the 13 known Fidiobia species, and a summary of the efforts made to introduce natural enemies of Diaprepes species into Florida are provided.
