The internationalization as strategy of insertion in foreign markets is not a phenomenon restricted to businesses. It is noticed also, that the higher education institutions (HEIs) are increasingly being inserted in the global market to the development of specific strategies for improving the quality and construction of specific competences that support their educational policies, research and extension. The internationalization of such organizations is not new, however, increasingly HEIs are adopting this strategy, especially for postgraduate studies courses. Aiming to verify whether the psychic distance interfere in the choice of partners of foreign universities was held an exploratory and qualitative research with seven courses at a university located in southern Brazil. The results show that the psychic distance does not determine the choice of countries, and yes, the network relationship of teachers. The network of relationships in the International Business literature was considered as an important factor to minimize negative effects of the psychic distance, providing specific conditions to acquire knowledge and skills. It has been shown also that the masters and doctoral courses are inserted in the international market of higher education with a relatively low degree of knowledge. However, in a gradual way, HEIs are acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary for cooperation with foreign universities postgraduate programs, using the network of professors and researchers.

This study aims to analyze the influence of worry and involvement of teachers in cyber bullying practices. For this, a survey was conducted among 112 elementary and high school teachers from public and private schools in the city of Blumenau, SC, Brazil. The data were analyzed using exploratory factor analysis and structural equations. The results indicated that the concerns of teachers with cyber bullying actions influence the belief of these professionals, in the sense that the school involvement is important, raising the need for more proactive stances to prevent the harm caused to students by these actions.

Planning is an important aspect of the management process and it contributes to the development of an organization. This statement is also validated in the health sector, since managers of organizations in this segment have given more and more importance to planning. However, few studies have sought to explore the way in which risk management can influence the planning of health organizations. Seeking to fill this gap, this article aims to verify if the planning of healthcare organizations has taken into account the risk management. Thus, a qualitative research was conducted through a structured questionnaire and a semi-structured interview at a clinic and in a laboratory network in the city of Pelotas. After assessing the information gathered, it was discovered that the organizations surveyed concern themselves about the risks inherent to its business, wherein the use of tools and the mapping of risks have been considered in the planning process. Upon examining the information ,we identified four propositions: (1) risk control contributes to customer satisfaction; (2) planning of healthcare organizations does take into account the risk management; (3) the more auditors, the greater the concern about the risks; and (4) over time, the risk management process becomes more complex within the organization.

The purpose of this article is to evaluate the effect of distance on the export performance of companies in Santa Catarina, and to what extent this effect is moderated by organizational resource characteristics. Multiple linear regression and variance analysis were used for a perception survey of export managers with a final sample of 49 exporting producers. The constructs showed internal validity and allowed the data to be analyzed. The results only revealed evidence regarding the effect of psychic distance, showing a positive relationship with export performance. Also, the model estimation showed that the organizations resources moderate the relation between distance and export performance. Finally the study also shows that the export team and the organizational structure moderate the effect of distance on the performance and future performance expectations of the companies.
