Electromagnetic Interference of Components of Intrusion and Hold-up Alarm Systems

Hana Urbancokova; Stanislav Kovar; Jan Valouch; Milan Adamek

The components of intrusion and hold-up alarm systems are not only the receiver of the electromagnetic interference that is around them but also these components are the source of the electromagnetic interference. If the components generate excessively high interference, their activity could have an adverse effect on other electronic devices in their vicinity or it can cause errors in the functional properties of the entire security alarm system. For this reason, each component must be tested for electromagnetic immunity and also their electromagnetic interference must be measured in accredited laboratories for electromagnetic compatibility.

Electromagnetic interference of CCTV

Stanislav Kovaf; Jan Valouch; Hana Urbancokova; Milan Adamek

All electronic and electrical devices generate interference signals that may effect on working other devices in the area. The paper describes a level of electromagnetic interference that IP cameras generate. The measurement must accomplish requirement according to the norm ČSN EN 55022 ed.3.

Electromagnetic susceptibility of wireless relay against surge

Hana Urbancokova; Jan Valouch; Milan Adamek

The examination of electromagnetic susceptibility of electronic devices is an important part of the process of design, development and construction of the electronic device. Surge is one of the types of electromagnetic interference and all the electronic devices must be tested on this type of interference according to international standards. Surge often occurs at the atmospheric disturbances such as lightning or at disorders in the energy of the high voltage network. The surge can cause failure of devices or even its permanent damage or destruction, in case the electronic device has insufficient electromagnetic immunity. Streszczenie. Udary czesto powodowane są prze wyladowania elektryczne i zaklocenia w sieci elektrycznej. Mogą one powodowac zaklocenia pracy przekaźnikow a nawet ich uszkodzenie. W pracy przedstawiono badania wplywu udarow na prace bezprzewodowych przekaźnikow. Kompatybilnośc elektromagnetyczna przekaźnikow bezprzewodowych

Immunity test of electronic device for electrostatic discharge

Hana Urbancokova; Jan Valouch; Stanislav Kovar

The Natura 2000 network contains many different habitats in Estonia, including old-growth forests and semi-natural woodlands. Ten years after the establishment of the Natura 2000 network in Estonia, changes have occurred in habitat type and habitat quality. Vegetation composition as well as the structural and functional qualities of a forest habitat type – Fennoscandian herbrich forests with Picea abies (EU Habitats Directive habitat type 9050) – are analysed in this study. The study is based on sample plots measured in 2014 and are located in protected and non-protected areas. Aegopodium, Filipendula and Oxalis vegetation types are included for assessment of vegetation, tree structure and deadwood composition. Habitat composition and dynamics on conservation sites are compared with commercial forests and possible ecosystem restoration measures are discussed in the study. The 46% of the studied habitats had considerably lowered their initial conservation value and 49% were developed towards habitat type 9010 during 2004–2014.

Impact of security cameras on electromagnetic environment in far and near-field

Stanislav Kovar; Jan Valouch; Hana Urbancokova; Milan Adamek

Electromagnetic interference constitutes a serious problem for the design and operation of electronic and electrical security devices or systems because the impairment of the device function gives rise security complications. The complications may be associated with false alarms, errors in control of connected devices, image defects, losses of communication. The main purpose of the experiment reported here was to analyze and compare the level of the electromagnetic interference in a near and far field. In addition, the article also provides an interesting comparison of the results obtained by measuring in the Gigahertz Transverse Electromagnetic cell and semi-anechoic chamber.

Stopping of transport vehicles using the power electromagnetic pulses

Hana Urbancokova; Jan Valouch; Stanislav Kovar

Operation of electrical and electronic systems can be disturbed by the influence of natural or artificially generated electromagnetic pulses (EMP). In this connection for many years people successfully developed means for generating the power EMP also in the form of weapon systems. Potential targets can be the important elements of critical infrastructure, military systems or transport vehicles, for example if necessary stopping the moving vehicle, as well as vehicles, which penetrated to vicinity of the protected object or stopping of vehicles at control posts.

The Analysis of the Physiological Similarities between Family Members

Hana Talandova; Hana Urbancokova; Milan Adamek

This paper deals with the similarity of fingerprints of family members. The paper is divided into two parts, the first part introduces biometrics, then the oldest methods of biometric identification, which are fingerprints. The second part describes the experiment, which compared the similarity of fingerprints of family members and subsequent evaluation of the results obtained during the experiment.
