Neues System zur Ermittlung des Kraftschlusspotenzials im Fahrbetrieb

In Zusammenarbeit mit der Nutzfahrzeugentwicklung der DaimlerChrysler AG wurde am Institut fur Maschinenkonstruktionslehre und Kraftfahrzeugbau der Universitat Karlsruhe ein System entwickelt, welches das Kraftschlusspotenzial zwischen Reifen und Fahrbahn im Fahrbetrieb erkennt. Dabei ist es von besonderem Wert, dass diese Informationen permanent ermittelt werden, dass die Ermittlung automatisch erfolgt und dass das gesamte System fahrzeugfest installiert ist.

Der neue Actros von Mercedes-Benz

Auf der vergangenen IAA Nutzfahrzeuge in Hannover hat DaimlerChrysler seinen neuen Mercedes-Benz Actros der Offentlichkeit prasentiert. Die neue Fahrzeugfamilie mit den Typen 1832 bis 4158 stellt eine konsequente Weiterentwicklung des 1996 in den Markt eingefuhrten Schwerlastkraftwagen dar.

New system for determining friction potential when driving

In cooperation with the Department of Commercial Vehicle Development at DaimlerChrysler AG, a system was developed by the Institute of Machine Design and Automotive Engineering at Karlsruhe University which detects the friction potential between the tyres and the road surface when driving. The system works in a special way, since the information is continually processed, measurement is performed automatically and the entire system is installed on board the vehicle.

The new actros from Mercedes-Benz

DaimlerChrysler presented its new Mercedes-Benz Actros to the public at the last IAA International Commercial Vehicles Motor Show in Hanover. The new vehicle family, with the 1832 to 4158 models, represents the consistent further development of the heavy-duty truck launched onto the market in 1996.
