Extraction of Low Molecular Weight Components from Fluoro-Polymers with Supercritical CO2

フッ素系ポリマー中の低分子量成分は超臨界CO2によって抽出され, その抽出量は水をエントレーナーとして用いることで増加することが明らかとなった. 低分子量成分の抽出に影響を及ぼす因子としては, CO2密度, CO2流通量, 初期水分濃度があり, 特に, CO2の臨界密度付近以上で抽出が促進される傾向が見られた. 最適条件下では分子量が約1万以下の低分子量成分が抽出され, 精製したポリマーのMw/Mnを1.86から1.16まで下げることができた. 超臨界フルオロホルム, 超臨界フルオロエタンについても同様な抽出実験を試みたところ, 超臨界CO2が最も抽出効果が高いことがわかった.
