Full-color organic EL display

For the first time, we report a full-color organic display with 10-in, diagonal and high resolution (VGA). This display was based on blue organic EL with color-changing mediums (CCM). A blue-emitting material with heat resistance was developed and used. In the construction of the full-color display, we used a tapered In 2 O 3 -ZnO with Al auxiliary electrodes as an anode with a low resistivity of 2 Ω/□. In addition, the CCM structure was improved in order to increase the contrast ratio of the display.

Organic EL materials based on styryl and amine derivatives

Excellent organic electroluminescent materials are needed in order to obtain color EL devices with high performance. We have succeeded in realizing bright and efficient devices with long lifetime in various color regions, based on styryl and amine derivatives.
