Recovery of economic growth in Russia

The presented paper of the Institute of Economic Forecasting of the Russian Academy of Sciences analyzes key macroeconomic and financial measures of contemporary Russian anticrisis policy, substantiates the main directions of growth recovery in the basic sectors of the economy and social sphere in the medium and long term, and considers the features of the regional economic growth recovery policy.

Resources and conditions of infrastructure development in the Russian federation

This paper considers the problems of the resource support for the modernization of infrastructure in Russia. The reproductive processes of the 2000s are characterized. The basic mechanisms for the implementation of projects and the role of the state in creating the conditions for solving the existing problems are considered. Special attention is devoted to the changes in the resource support for the process of infrastructure development. The forecast trends in the production of construction materials are shown on the basis of assessing the interrelation of the growth in funding for infrastructure development programs and development of the productive potential of industries that ensure their implementation.

Processes and mechanisms of the long-term development of Russia’s construction materials complex

The paper considers the development mechanisms of the Russian construction materials complex and their role in its future. The means of efficient accumulation of capital are discussed within the inertial and constructive options of economic growth. Special attention is paid to problems of import substitution and added value of materials, as well as methods of their solution in the changing macroeconomic environment.

Involvement of savings in the economy and development of reproduction processes in the Russian Federation

The article considers the reproductive aspect of Russia’s investment development. A characteristic of the completeness of use of investment resources is given, and the reasons that limit the accumulation of capital in the country are indicated. The basic mechanisms that provide investment growth in industries and opportunities for improvement are considered.

Economic conditions for the long-term development of metallurgy in Russia

Macroeconomic conditions define the effectiveness of the forecast variants of the metallurgical industry’s development. It is shown in the article that the results of the work of the Russian metallurgical industry in the 2000s were a consequence of changing conditions in the functioning of enterprises. An analysis of the principal factors defining the competitiveness of the metallurgical industry (raw material base, metal demand, and investment potential of development) is presented.

Formation of an investment model of economic development of Russia

The article describes approaches to assessing the role of the mechanism of investment development of economic. An analysis of the characteristics of the investment process in Russia in the 2000s–2010s has been conducted. The possibilities of eliminating the identified imbalances by improving investment policy of the government have been considered. Particular attention has been paid to the problems of forming models of the investment development of Russian economy in the medium term.

Influence of macroeconomic changes on the dynamics of metal production in Russia

The paper presents the characteristics of the main phenomena, which are associated with the development of Russian metallurgical complex. The value of macroeconomic policy in the formation of priorities of branch development is shown. In the evaluation of prospects in the domestic metallurgy, the emphasis is on the changes in the driving forces, which determine the trends in the global and domestic market for metal products.

Necessary conditions for the modernization of the Russian processing industry on the example of the heavy engineering industry

The necessity of a state policy for the modernization of the heavy engineering sector for the purpose of equalizing the competitive conditions for national and foreign manufacturers is substantiated in the paper. A strategy for the recovery of the Russian heavy engineering industry is offered based on the world experience of support of national products and their promotion in foreign markets. Predictive estimates of the possible development of the industry up to 2020 are given.

Involvement of resources in Russia’s construction materials complex

The problems of using resources in the construction materials complex of the Russian Federation are reviewed in the paper. The processes of involvement of resources in the economic application in the main types of economic activities providing production of materials are analyzed. The scope of limitations of resources used in economic branches is revealed on the basis of research of corporate and financial development mechanisms. The necessity to strengthen reproduction processes in the country as a basis for the formation of demand for domestic constructional materials is substantiated.
