Germinação de sementes de nogueira-macadâmia submetidas à incisão e imersão em ácido giberélico

Neste trabalho, objetivou-se avaliar a emergencia de plântulas de nogueira-macadâmia, por meio do uso de incisao nas sementes e imersao em acido giberelico. Sementes do cultivar IAC-Campinas B, extraidas de frutos maduros foram padronizadas quanto ao tamanho e sanidade. Foram imergidas em recipiente preenchido por agua. Em 80 sementes, realizou-se incisao de 0,5 cm na casca, no sentido longitudinal ao embriao, deixando as amendoas expostas. Outras 80 sementes foram mantidas intactas. Em seguida, todas as sementes foram submersas em diferentes concentracoes de acido giberelico: 0, 150, 300 e 450 mg L-1, por 90 horas, com sistema de oxigenacao. Apos esse periodo, as sementes foram colocadas em bandejas plasticas, entre camadas de areia grossa autoclavada, preservadas em laboratorio com temperatura controlada (em torno de 25oC). As bandejas foram umedecidas diariamente, com auxilio de regador manual. Apos 180 dias, mensurou-se a porcentagem de emergencia, os comprimentos medios das raizes, das partes aereas e a massas secas medias totais das plântulas. Concluiu-se que a incisao e imersao de nogueira-macadâmia em acido giberelico foram prejudiciais a emergencia e desenvolvimento das plântulas.

ABSTRACT EVALUATION OF GRAPEVINE ROOTSTOCKS UNDER SUBTROPICAL CONDITIONS The work had as objective to evaluate the performance phytotechnical and disease tolerance ofrootstocks of grapevines in the formation phase the field, as well as the initial development of graftvariety “BRS Violeta”. Seedlings originated from rooted cuttings of 17 rootstocks of grapevine (‘SO4’,‘Teleki 8B’, ‘Harmony’, ‘Golia’, ‘Riparia de Traviu’, ‘Paulsen’, ‘420 A’, ‘99R’, ‘5C’, ‘RR101-14’, ‘Kober 5BB’,‘Rupestris Du Lot’, ‘IAC 313 Tropical’, ‘IAC 766 Campinas’, ‘IAC 572 Jales’, ‘VR 043-43’ and ‘IAC 571-6Jundiai’) were taken to the field at the end of spring in subtropical conditions. After four months, weevaluated the severity of anthracnose and rust of the grapevine on the leaves of the shoots of rootstocksand five months after the force of the same ones. The following winter, was performed cleft grafting thevariety ‘BRS Violeta’ and after 60 days was evaluated for percentage of sprouting, the diameter and theaverage length of the graft. The rootstock ‘IAC 572 Jales’ and ‘IAC 313 Tropical’ had presented lowerfoliar infection anthracnose and rust. The rootstock ‘IAC 572 Jales’ showed higher performance in thefield, prior to the operation of grafting, while the rootstock ‘SO4’, ‘Harmony’, ‘Paulsen’ and ‘IAC 766Campinas’ promoted more vigorously the development of graft ‘BRS Violeta’.
