Occupational fatigue in healthcare nurses, which has multifaceted issues, is associated with decreased patient safety and the quality of nursing care. The aim of this study was to investigate the nurses fatigue problem in sub-unit healthcare based on their perceptual experience. Interviews were conducted and analyzed utilizing a direct qualitative content analysis approach using NVivo Software and guided by Model of System Engineering Initiative for Patient Safety (SEIPS). The findings of this research were a steering on what nurses perceive as contributing and preventing to fatigue which are likewise arranged in SEIPS model. It was shown that a macro ergonomic approach is valuable for understanding complexities of work systems, even though it is a small unit organization.

In order to support sustainable development of the national automotive, Sebelas Maret University (UNS) has started to develop a national electric car. In 2012, the second-generation of electric car named Smart EV.2 was start to be developed. Development for SmarT EV.2 car related to the development of interior design including one of which is the design dashboard of SmarT EV.2. The design of the dashboard of SmarT car is still modest because it does not fit with the main function of the dashboard and still lacking in the aspect of design, dimensional design, and also ergonomic aspects. Therefore, it needs to design and improved for the development of the dashboard SmarT EV.2. The design stage of the Smart EV.2 used method of designing and developing products made by Ulrich which consists of four steps. The steps are performed to identify mismatches on the dashboard, arrange design concepts that includes clarify issues, internal and external search, making morphological chart, the next step is to set the dimensions of the dashboard and select the dashboard design concepts. The results obtained from this research is to find the best of dashboard concept. After done with the research finally the best dashboard concept is design number four which made of ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) composite, with only has a closed canopy shape on the top, has a number of forms with 3 main indicator which are Temperature, Battery Charging and Speedometer indicator. Temperature indicator uses moving scale with fixed pointer, Battery Charging indicator meter uses a digital pointer, speedometer uses moving pointer with fixed scale as a guide. Design is also equipped with the technology for audio entertainment, small drawer for a place of cup, medium drawers and air conditioning. All the design and functionality of the dashboard SmarT EV.2 made with having regard to the aspect of ergonomics.

The installation of the Sentral surgical nurse is on duty for medical personnel stationed provide health services to the community. The workload that was given to the installation of the Sentral surgical nurse very fluctuating depending on the patients condition as well as the type of surgery that is done. The workload associated with the pressure that comes from the boss and family parties pertaining to patient safety will be and the success of an operation, which it was feared would result in decreased productivity and stress due to workload is mental, physically, and emotionally. This prolonged stress can lead to fatigue physical, mental, and emotional that can terminate the occurrence of burnout in nurses. This study was completed using the physical workload measurement methods with% CVL, mental workload using the NASA-TLX, and measurements of burnout with the Maslach Burnout Inventory. The results showed that the installation of the Sentral surgical nurse Karanganyar Hospital levels of burnout is low to moderate. Average physical workload experienced by low-and-medium category entry. Meanwhile, the mental burden experienced by nurses entered the category of high and very high. The purpose of doing research is to know the magnitude of the mental and physical workload and burnout levels experienced nurse Sentral surgical installation to improve productivity.

City car is a vehicle that suited for densely urban areas. One thing that requires attention when buy a city car is automobile seat comfort - this studys focus is drivers seat -, In general a study of automobile seat comfort is still focused on the ergonomic aspects. Automobile drivers seat design which only focused on ergonomic aspects is not sufficient to meet the comfort expected by customers. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze customer requirements based on voice of customer. There are two goals of this study. First, to identify the customer requirements of drivers seat design. Second, to get the design concept of comfortable drivers seat. This study is using Quality Function Deployment method that giving priority of attributes based on customer requirements. This method conducted House of Quality that connects the voice of customers and technical characteristics. Refers to the results of this study, elected concept drivers seat design is K6 (contour fit the curve of buttock, coating material from smooth synthetic leather, bright colors and adjust cars interior color, trim design is a combination of straight lines and cross lines, seat has a logo and recliner from composites).
