One of the basic principles underlying the Vocational Education Act of 1963 was that youth would be trained for occupations (supply) for which society has a need (demand). This is based on the assumption that labor economists would project the needs of society and that vocational educators would adjust their programs accordingly. The purpose of this chapter is to review the literature on manpower supply and demand to determine the extent to which this objective of the Vocational Education Act of 1963 can be achieved. Since this is the first time an entire chapter of the REVIEW has been devoted to the subject of manpower supply and demand, a general and theoretical approach will be employed at first in order to illustrate some of the major issues, followed by a more detailed summary of research in the subject area.

chievous test to apply, particularly when the received doctrine which serves as the angle of vision is intimately related to a sectarian strategy of power. This is not to say that the historian must abdicate his responsibility for interpreting and even passing critical judgment. Neither this nor any other labor movement is close to being the best possible labor movement. But the historian as scientist has the major obligation to assess the course of events from an independent appraisal, not from the standpoint of a prefabricated design.

What do you do to start reading experience under railway labor legislation? Searching the book that you love to read first or find an interesting book that will make you want to read? Everybody has difference with their reason of reading a book. Actuary, reading habit must be from earlier. Many people may be love to read, but not a book. Its not fault. Someone will be bored to open the thick book with small words to read. In more, this is the real condition. So do happen probably with this experience under railway labor legislation.
