A Enfermagem Psiquiátrica, a ABEn e o Departamento Científico de Enfermagem Psiquiátrica e Saúde Mental: avanços e desafios

Este estudo contextualiza a Enfermagem Psiquiatrica e a Saude Mental no Brasil, considerando os principais marcos historicos, politicos e sociais que influenciam o cuidado de enfermagem nessa area. As reflexoes apontam para mudancas no paradigma da atencao psicossocial considerando os aspectos legais que regulamentam as acoes, os avancos e desafios vivenciados na pratica da Enfermagem Psiquiatrica no contexto assistencial assim como na formacao do enfermeiro. E fundamental formar profissionais capazes de atuar na gestao e assistencia na perspectiva interdisciplinar e em rede. As conquistas almejadas para esta especialidade perpassam por uma comunidade cientifica critica e organizada politicamente que conheca e atenda a realidade dos profissionais. Neste panorama, o Departamento Cientifico de Enfermagem Psiquiatrica e Saude Mental, criado pela Associacao Brasileira de Enfermagem se instala como uma estrategia para congregar e consolidar o trabalho dos especialistas, visando a excelencia da Atencao Especializada em Psiquiatria e Saude Mental.This study contextualizes the Psychiatric Nursing and Mental Health in Brazil, considering the major historic, political and social factors that influence nursing care in this area. Reflections pointed to changes in the paradigm of psychosocial care considering the legal aspects that regulate the actions, progress and challenges experienced in the practice of Psychiatric Nursing in healthcare settings as well as in nursing education. It is essential to train professionals to work in management and assistance in perspective and interdisciplinary care network. The achievements for this specialty rush on a scientific critical and organized politically and who knows answer the reality of professionals. In this view, the Scientific Department of Psychiatric Nursing and Mental Health, created by the Brazilian Association of Nursing was installed as a strategy to bring together and consolidate the work of experts, aiming to achieve the excellence of the Specialized Care in Psychiatry and Mental Health.

Teaching nursing care in mental health in undergraduate nursing

OBJETIVO: Analizar la ensenanza del cuidado de enfermeria en salud mental por intermedio de los contenidos de los Proyectos Pedagogicos y Planes de Ensenanza de los Cursos de Pregrado en Enfermeria del Estado de Santa Catarina, en el periodo de 2009 y 2010. METODOS: Investigacion cualitativa, de tipo descriptivo y exploratorio, teniendo como tecnica de recoleccion de datos el analisis documental, realizada en el periodo de noviembre/2009 y enero/2010 con las 26 Coordinaciones de los Cursos de Pregrado en Enfermeria de Santa Catarina. RESULTADOS: El cuidado de enfermeria en salud mental esta presente en los contenidos de las disciplinas/modulos de 20 cursos. El contenido del cuidado demostro contradiccion sobre cual paradigma rige su ensenanza en esos cursos. CONCLUSION: La ensenanza del cuidado de enfermeria en salud mental avanza en un campo del conocimiento en construccion, compuesto por diferentes nucleos de saber-hacer sobre un concepto ampliado de salud/salud mental multideterminado.Objective: To analyze the teaching of nursing care in mental health through the contents for Educational Projects and Teaching Plans for Undergraduate Nursing Courses in the state of Santa Catarina, in the period of 2009 and 2010. Methods: Qualitative, descriptive and exploratory research, using the technique of data collection by document analysis, conducted between November/2009 and January/2010 with 26 Coordinators for Undergraduate Courses in Nursing in Santa Catarina. Results: Nursing care in mental health is present in the content of the disciplines / modules of 20 courses. The content of care demonstrated contradiction about which paradigm governed the teaching of these courses. Conclusion: The teaching of nursing care in mental health progresses in a field of knowledge in construction, composed of different nuclei of knowing – doing about a broader multidetermined concept of health / mental health.

Associação dos usuários de um centro de atenção psicossocial: desvelando sua significação

This article aims to identify the meaning that members of an association of users attribute to a Psicosocial Attention Center, utilizing a qualitative research approach. The data was obtained through semi-structured interviews which were analyzed using the Social Representation theory. The theoretical framework is supported by the contributions of the Brazilian Psychiatric Reform and the psychosocial attention clinic. The results show that users value Psicosocial Attention Center as an information and educational center, a place building autonomy, of belonging, and as a political and empowerment tool. In conclusion, the Association of Users could play a significant role in the Brazilian psychiatric reform process, provided they feel free from certain forms of embarrassments and their actions may eventually start a reflection upon an important contribution to social inclusion of mentally disabled people. It becomes important to work in an integrated form in the realm of public policy and to monitor the services in association with other segments of society. RESUMEN: Este artículo procuró identificar el significado de una asociación de usuários de un Servício de Atención Psicosocial, utilizando la investigación cualitativa. La colecta de informaciones fueron obtenidas por medio de la entrevista semi-estructurada, el análisis se apoyó en la Teoría de las Representaciones Sociales. Los resultados muestran una diversidad de significados: espacio de información y formación; construcción de la autonomía; pertenencia; instrumento político y de empoderamiento. Se concluyó que en el campo de la salud mental la asociación de los usuários podrá desempeñar un papel de relevancia en el proceso de la reforma psiquiátrica, debido a que libertados de algunos constreñimientos e incómodos, sus acciones contribuirán de manera significativa con la no exclusión social del portador de trastorno mental ligado a la formulación de las políticas públicas para ésta área, así como, el acompañamiento de la gestión de los servicios, articulados éstos con las otras instituciones de la sociedad civil. Intervenção nas situações de crise psíquica: dificuldades e sugestões de uma equipe de atenção pré-hospitalar

A qualitative and descriptive research, aimed at knowing how the pre-hospital care professionals perceive the interventions towards people in mental crisis. The study was developed in Santa Catarina with four teams of basic life support units of the Department of Mobile Emergency Care, during April to June 2011. The Collective Subject Discourse was used as the method of analysis. Two themes emerged: Awareness of the difficulties in meeting a person in mental crisis and Suggestions in the search for a closer attention to the person in mental crisis. The difficulties mentioned were related to the lack of training and a local to forward the patients, suggesting a better training and systematization of care. We conclude that it is necessary to invest in the educational process, based on new care strategies guided by the principles of SUS and of the psychosocial paradigm, and revisit the strategy of protocols as guidelines and not as standardizing systems.Pesquisa descritiva, qualitativa, que objetivou conhecer como os profissionais de atencao pre-hospitalar percebem as intervencoes nas pessoas em crise psiquica. O estudo foi realizado, no estado de Santa Catarina, com quatro equipes das Unidades de Suporte Basico do Servico de Atendimento Movel de Urgencia, mediante entrevista, no periodo de abril a junho de 2011. Utilizou-se como metodo de analise o Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo. Dos resultados emergiram dois temas: Percepcao das dificuldades no atendimento a pessoa em crise psiquica e Sugestoes na busca por um atendimento mais proximo do desejado a pessoa em crise psiquica. As dificuldades apontadas se relacionam a falta de capacitacao e de um local para encaminhamento e sugerem treinamento e sistematizacao do atendimento. Conclui-se que se faz necessario investir em processo de formacao pautado em novas estrategias de cuidado norteadas pelos principios do SUS e no paradigma psicossocial, alem de rediscutir a estrategia de protocolos como sistemas norteadores e nao padronizadores.Investigacion descriptivo-cualitativa, que objetivo conocer como los profesionales de la atencion pre-hospitalaria perciben las intervenciones en personas con crisis mental. El estudio fue realizado en Santa Catarina con cuatro equipos de las Unidades de Soporte Vital Basico, mediante entrevista realizada de abril a junio de 2011. El Discurso del Sujeto Colectivo fue utilizado como metodo de analisis; surgiendo dos temas: Percepcion de las dificultades en la atencion a la persona en crisis mental y Sugerencias en la busqueda de una mejor atencion a la persona en crisis mental. Las dificultades mencionadas se relacionan con la falta de capacitacion y lugar para la atencion, sugiriendo un mejor entrenamiento y sistematizacion de la atencion. Se resalta la necesidad de invertir en el proceso de formacion basado en nuevas estrategias de atencion guiadas por los principios del SUS y el paradigma psicosocial, y revisar la estrategia de protocolos como nortes no estandarizados.

MOBILE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES IN THE PSYCHOLOGICAL CRISIS AND THE PSYCHOSOCIAL PARADIGM

The objective was to know the perception and interventions of basic support teams of the mobile emergency medical service in a situation of psychic crisis. T...Objetivou-se conhecer a percepcao e as intervencoes de equipes de suporte basico do servico de atendimento movel de urgencia na situacao da crise psiquica. Estudo de abordagem qualitativa, descritiva, realizada em Santa Catarina, com quatro equipes de unidades de suporte basico do servico de atendimento movel de urgencia. Os dados foram coletados de abril a junho de 2011, mediante entrevista semiestruturada. Utilizou-se para a organizacao e analise dos dados o Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo e para a discussao, o paradigma psicossocial. Dos resultados emergiram tres discursos com as Ideias Centrais: crise como alteracao de comportamento e instabilidade psicologica; manifestacao com presenca de alucinacoes e agressividade; intervencao que ocorre com contencao fisica, medicamentosa e encaminhamento. Concluiu-se que a concepcao de crise pelos profissionais esta atrelada ao positivismo da psiquiatria e a atencao pre-hospitalar segue medidas protocolares no atendimento a pessoa em crise psiquica, distantes dos principios determinados pelo paradigma psicossocial.

Nursing care to people admitted in emergency for attempted suicide

OBJECTIVE to analyze the nursing care to people admitted in emergency for attempted suicide in the perception of the nursing staff. METHOD descriptive and exploratory study, of qualitative approach, developed from semi-structured interviews with eight nurses and eight nursing technicians of the emergency service of a University Hospital in south Brazil. Data analysis was performed through content analysis. RESULTS three categories emerged: nursing care to the person who attempted suicide; the adult emergency service as a scenario of mental health practices; and permanent education-related needs in mental health. FINAL CONSIDERATIONS initiatives capable to potentialize good practices in mental health care are still incipient and lack encouragement in the health service. There is an urgent need to think about changes in the care culture of the emergency service, especially to ensure the scope of psychosocial care actions.

Influência das reformas curriculares no ensino de saúde mental em enfermagem: 1969 a 2014

Objective To analyze the influence of curricular changes in mental health nursing education at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Method Qualitative research, exploratory and descriptive. Data were collected in official ordinances in the Pedagogical Projects of the Nursing Course and in the Teaching Plans in the period from 1969 to 2014. The data collection was carried out between the months of March and December 2015. We used a spreadsheet to organize the data and they were analyzed according to the technique of documentary analysis. Results Trends in curricular changes were highlighted after the Curricular and Psychiatric Reforms. The most significant changes occurred since 2004 with the National Curriculum Guidelines and Law 10.2016. Conclusion It was found that the curricular changes occurred from induction and from outside the educational institution policies.
