This work proposes the construction of a tool for communication between listeners and speakers through the Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS) and the French Sign Language (LFS), making a simultaneous translation between the Brazilian written language and the French written language integrated through a web application, with the aid of the recognition of signals by techniques of image recognition and use of webservices. In addition, it raises a bibliography of the struggle of disabled people, the importance of non-verbal communication in human life, as well as an analysis of several translators available in the electronic mean, raising their strengths and weaknesses by comparing them in standard color, structure and navigation used. At the end of the study, a general evaluation is carried out on the application of a questionnaire to the users and a case study with TRADUZ.

Nowadays, Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) have made it possible for todays society to innovate and facilitate various areas of knowledge. With the advent of this evolution, interdisciplinarity arises between the areas of knowledge, which contribute to the evolution of technologies. In this aspect, the present work proposes to bring together the interdisciplinarity of computing areas, among them: robotics, algorithms and image recognition, as well as medicine, with orthopedics and correction procedures for bone deformities, through the union of the two areas, Replacing or assisting the process of bone deformity correction using Ilizarov Hexapod Systems (IHS), previously carried out manually by an orthopedic doctor specialized in IHS, through a partnership between the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco and the AACD (in Brazil) (Disabled Child Care Association), it was possible to glimpse this area of research little diffused.

It is common in the world the existence of explosion risks linked to the oil refining process. Thus, to analyze the probable situations, it is necessary the intervention of the technology through the systems of virtual reality and simulations. The explosion, is the type of increased accident that most causes immediate deaths, leading companies to pay damages and rebuild their destroyed assets again. So, the objective of this work is to demonstrate the use of software simulations to identify and quantify the possible effects of physical effects and explosion damages, resulting from the Petroleum Refining process operation of the diesel hydrotreatment unit, Abreu e Lima Refinery (ALR or RNEST in Brazil, country of Latin-American), a city located in northeastern Brazil. Simulations were performed with the Aloha software in three pipes of the ALR. The analyzes allowed to identify two routes of the refinery that present moderate threats, with effects that have the capacity to generate ruptures in the tympani and pulmonary hemorrhages in their employees. Finally, proposals were made for preventive mitigation measures to ensure that petrochemicals reduce their costs and still maintain the safety of their employees.

Based on the context in which social networks and collaborative systems are involved, this paper presents the process of conception, projection and implementation of a collaborative social network with the goal to promote actions related to social inclusion of people with genetic disorders with physical disabilities. Using an experimental and descriptive approach the creation and development of GenNet is described and reflections are made over the particularities of this process in the healthcare environment.
