I benchmarking the well-known Fast Fourier Transforms Library at X86 Xeon E5 2690 v3 system. Fourier transform image processing is an important tool that is used to decompose the image into sine and cosine components. If the input image represented by the equation in the spatial domain, output from the Fourier transform represents the image in the fourier or the frequency domain. Each point represents a particular frequency included in the spatial domain image in the Fourier domain image. Fourier transform is used widely for image analysis, image filtering, image compression and image reconstruction as a wide variety of applications. Fourier transform plays a important role in signal processing, image processing and speech recognition. It has been used in a wide range of sectors. For example, this is often a signal processing, is used in digital signal processing applications, such as voice recognition, image processing. The Discrete Fourier transform is a specific kind of Fourier transform. It maps the sequence over time to sequence over frequencies. If it implemented as a discrete Fourier transform, the time complexity is O (N2). It’s actually not a better way to use. Alternatively, the Fast Fourier Transform is possible to easily perform a Discrete Fourier Transform of parallelism with only O (n log n) algorithm. Fast Fourier Transform is widely used in a variety of scientific computing program. If you are using the correct library can improve the performance of the program, without any additional effort. I have a well-known fast Fourier transform library was going to perform a benchmarking on X86 based Intel Xeon E5 2690 systems. In the machine’s current Intel Xeon X86 Linux system. I have installed Intel IPP library, FFTW3 Library (West FFT), Kiss -FFT library and the numutils library on Intel X86 Xeon E5 based systems. The benchmark performed at C, and measuring the performance over a range of a transform size. It benchmarks both real and complex transforms in one dimension.

Dong-Hyun Kim; Jin-Mook Kim; Young-Sik Jeong; Koo-Rack Park

The rapid growth of modern society has been a double-edged sword; it has led to positive results such as income growth due to the diversification of our society, but also negative results such as an increase in crime. For this reason, cities are confronting a wide range of issues. Social issues, especially criminal offenses, stir up more fear of crime among residents. The rapid societal penetration of digital devices such as smart phones, along with an increase in IT knowledge, has made our lives more convenient. However, cyber-crime and violent crime taking advantage of these benefits are also increasing. There is an increasing need for crime prevention and crime prediction in order to solve these problems, and many studies on crime are under way as part of our effort to respond to various changes in our society using a variety of prediction tools. Thus, in this study, a combined risk probability map generation model was suggested by predicting crime frequency through a Markov Chain Analysis, quantifying risks through objective classification of urban spaces and applying attribute-specific risk indexes and interpretation keys across the entire scope of the study. The crime prediction model based on risk probability map suggested in this study facilitates multimedia services using mobile devices such as smartphones and thus can be used to optimally plan patrol routes of police officers in zones vulnerable to crimes as well as placement of surveillance systems, which will in turn contribute to relieving many citizens’ anxiety about crime. Our model’s approach is too small environment in this research time. But we will try to more experiment environment is big such as town and state next research time.

Jong-Hak Lee; Koo-Rack Park; Dong-Hyun Kim; Joon-yong Kim

Most emergencies faced by the socially vulnerable class occur in the absence of their protectors or observers. Therefore, unexpected accidents lead to taking their lives. To solve the problem, it is required to establish a system enable to notify a protector or an observer of an emergency in order to prevent and deal with an unexpected accident. An emergency monitoring system using biometric data receives biosignals from wearable devices, detects and judges an emergency with the use of emergency context awareness algorithm, and then gives a notification to a protector or an observer. The monitoring system implemented in this study is able to collect body temperature, heart rate, and work rate to recognize an emergency and to make a judgment on the basis of the received biosignals with the use of emergency context awareness algorithm.

Rae-Chun Lee; Koo-Rack Park; Jin-Mook Kim; Hwa-Young Jeong

Competition in the modern IT market has become fiercer thus making the forms of employment in IT companies more diversified. Accordingly, the number of full time jobs and related companies also greatly reduced. Thus to relative increase of non-regular workers, job insecurity and poor working conditions likely result to experience social exclusion. Consecutively, suffering from social exclusion of non-regular workers likely result to increase in experiencing economic difficulties. These problems pose require high degree of concentration in the information systems development because of resulting factors such as weakening of information system developers’ focus, thus this is taken as an active issue of interest. However, any discussion on the status of IT workers in Korea that is related to social exclusion and its impact on the quality of information systems is rare. As a result, this study aims to empirically examine the relationship between the quality of information systems and its IT professionals’ social exclusion. According to the survey conducted, IT professionals’ social exclusion factors showed a significant effect on the quality of information system.

Song-Hae Kwoak; Koo-Rack Park; Dong-Hyun Kim

Recent public information project, which has been organized mainly to large companies is a situation that is being reorganized to small and medium-sized systems integration company. However, many of the small and medium-sized companies lack knowledge of the systematic risk management. Thus, in connection with the revenue, it involves a number of problems. Therefore, in this paper, we present a risk element that occurs mainly in the field of the project, providing a model for measuring the risk element by risk level costs associated with this. Through the convergence, we aim at providing a management system that is able to make the project successfully accomplished, predicting the risk that occurs in advance to pursue the project; Based on the proposed model, it is possible to secure a proper size of reserve fund so it is expected to enable companies to ensure the cost of risk analysis.

A Study on the Scale Effort Estimation Model based on Industry Characteristics

Song-Hae Kwoak; Koo-Rack Park; Dong-Hyun Kim

Information system development projects, have a mechanism for many of the costs generated by a variety of risk factors. In general, the probability that the software project of the information system is carried out successfully in the delivery time is very low. This prediction of a formal cost is needed as the most important factor since it can prevent the project from being failed. However, objectivity of most of the project scale calculation during the calculation criteria is insufficient. Further, it is the actual situation that the management of the base line is not properly made during the project. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a model to calculate the number of steps it takes to develop on the basis of a methodology in an attempt to overcome the limitation of being unpractical in the early stage of the information system development project. It is expected to be a tool to estimate the effort and cost required by the information system development business through these convergence proposals model.

In modern society, which boomed it became easier to obtain the necessary information to the emergence of a variety of smart devices. Due to this, the frequency of using the content based on the Web is growing rapidly. In addition, companies are turning into a production and modify the content using the CMS under the web-based. It can be a very important part to provide users with the content. Currently web services are designing a UI to the device and provided. To improve the ease of use, they are enhancing services only by survey and analysis of the patterns of all users. Most are designed without considering the UX only in the technical aspects. In this paper, to break the limits that apply to all users of the Web service pattern analysis, we propose a visualization system via the animation based on the individual users movement patterns and usage patterns. Through this convergence is expected to be able to transform the web from the central manager to the user UX and the planning aspects researchers.

Tae-Sung Lim; Koo-Rack Park; Young Suk Chung

Objectives: Systems managed by ITSM include incident management process. Considering the characteristics of incidents, much professional manpower and time should be needed. The purpose of this study is to suggest AIPS (Automatic Incident Process System) for simple and repeated incidents among those registered on ITSM to improve existing inefficient shortcomings. Methods/Statistical analysis: AIPS uses NBC (Naive Bayesian Classification) to automatically classify incidents registered on ITSM to simple class or complex class. With NBC, AIPS learns accumulated processed data and distinguishes simple and repeated incidents. In addition, it calculates the frequency of main solutions for the distinguished incidents, and then transmits the solution with the highest frequency to requesters through e-mail. Findings: 52,735 incidents that had been processed for six months were analyzed, and 9,238 of them were confirmed to be simple and repeated incidents, which account for 17.51%. AIPS and human tried to analyze and classify the same incident. As a result, AIPS using NBC classified 7111 (76.97%) incidents to simple and repeated incidents, which were smaller than 8,603 (93.12%) classified by human. A proper solution was selected according to the solution frequency of the classified incidents. The selected solution was sent through e-mail to grasp satisfaction. More than 87% of requesters answered “Satisfied (over score 80)”. The main reason of satisfaction was “Quick processing (89%)”. Simple incidents have a merit that they can be quickly resolved if managed in time. However, it is difficult to search simple incidents among a huge number of incidents and process them. AIPS suggested by this study was used, the working hours of professional manpower could be shortened by 77%, reducing the degree of workload, which raised concentration on processing of complex incidents. This will improve the overall working efficiency. Improvements/Applications: Owing to automatic processing of simple incidents, not only working efficiency but also requesters’ satisfaction will be improved.
