Die demografische Entwicklung mit verandertem Erkrankungsspektrum sowie die Verlangerung der Lebensarbeitszeit stellen bei gleichzeitigem Anspruch auf Kostenneutralitat der medizinischen Versorgung und Rehabilitation fur Betroffene, Leistungserbringer und Trager eine noch ungeloste Aufgabe dar. Obwohl der Gesetzgeber die Grundlagen zur Teilhabe von Menschen mit Behinderungen und von Menschen, die von Behinderung bedroht sind, geschaffen hat, mussen die Teilhabebedingungen noch erheblich verbessert werden.

Empowering Corporate Ageing Management by Interconnecting Existing Data: A Case Study from the German Automotive Industry

In the context of demographic changes in Germany the question of how to maintain corporate competitiveness and employees’ work ability becomes important. The case study in the automotive industry shows that in various corporate spheres of activity there are good initiatives but a strategic approach which interconnects existing processes in terms of a comprehensive ageing management is missing. Relevant corporate experts were therefore looking for support. The so-called FIT-model devised during the survey helps to make the issue in corporations more comprehensible. Five additional products were developed to support the organisation of performance indicators; to raise management’s awareness of the issue; to communicate principles of ageing-appropriate work design; to reach the employees with the programmes of workplace health promotion and to improve the cooperation between companies and social insurance agencies. Initial feedback to the largely industry-independent results is positive.

Inklusion älterer und gesundheitlich eingeschränkter Arbeitnehmer in der Arbeitswelt

Einleitung Mit Unterzeichnung der UN-BRK verpflichtet sich Deutschland, die Rechte von Menschen mit Behinderung zu achten. Der Arbeitsmarkt soll offen und inklusiv gestaltet werden, zudem besteht ein Recht auf sichere und gesunde Arbeitsbedingungen. Bislang wird dies nicht in allen Unternehmen gewährleistet. Durch die verbesserte Zusammenarbeit von Arbeitnehmern, Unternehmen und Sozialversicherungsträgern soll es ermöglicht werden, frühzeitig potenzielle Gefährdungen der Beschäftigungsfähigkeit zu erkennen und die berufliche Inklusion gesundheitlich beeinträchtigter Beschäftigter zu sichern. Dies auch vorrangig mit dem Ziel die Beschäftigungsfähigkeit älterer Arbeitnehmer dauerhaft zu erhalten.

Die UN-Behindertenrechtskonvention und der Übergang Schule-Ausbildung-Beruf in Deutschland: Öffentliche Datenquellen auf dem Prüfstand

This paper analyzes public data sources and their requirements for the transition from school to vocational training and career of people with disabilities in the context of Article 31 of the UN-Convention on Rights of People with Disabilities. Different focuses of the public data sources within the involved systems and challenges in data analysis will be presented. These manifest themselves as cross-system interface problems when it comes to the identification and whereabouts of young people with disabilities at the transition from school to vocational training and employment. With these challenges public data sources on the transition from school to vocational training and employment are especially under scrutiny when it comes to developing and implementing policies in respect to the Convention on Rights for People with disabilities and the provision of adequate planning data.
