Innovation constitutes nowadays a major priority for the development of a new product, and it emerges with the design emphasis, especially when it includes consumer needs and preferences. This study aims to build a model to determine the extent to which the needs of a particular user are met when purchasing a vehicle for private use. To achieve this goal, the MCDA-C methodology was used for its potential to identify, organize, measure, and integrate the aspects identified as important by the user. Through a case study including primary information sources with no obstruction, qualitative and quantitative variables, and the constructivist view of knowledge, a user needs, preferences, and perceptions representative model was developed.

Over the past two decades, intellectual capital (IC) has emerged as a crucial factor for corporate competitiveness. In this context, the management of IC has received considerable attention in the literature by means of approaches to its evaluation. Recognizing the validity of such approaches, Schnorrenberger (2005) and Ensslin and Dutra (2007) point out their main limitation regarding their incapacity to simultaneously attend to the three stages of IC management, namely, identification, evaluation, and recommendation for improvement. The objective of the present paper - of an exploratory nature - is to construct a model for IC evaluation that includes its management utilizing the multicriteria methodology for decision aid - constructivist (MCDA-C). It is argued that the model accomplished the task of identifying the 57 elements comprising the IC in the organization investigated, evaluating and integrating all elements, providing a global view of the performance and identifying the elements of knowledge as the main elements responsible for the noncompetitive performance of the organization.

The goal is to map the main studies, published in the national and international literature, on SMEs networks in order to consolidate the different views on the advantages of joining a network of companies. For this purpose, it was selected by means of a structured process, a Bibliographic portfolio (PB). This study of descriptive and bibliographic character concluded that the shown advantages by researchers, in both contexts, are congruent and complementary - gains in the managerial aspects, joint development of new products, cost reduction, access to new markets, access to specialized workers - and important for the improvement of the SMEs competitiveness.

The paradigm shift in the market in different fields has been encouraging companies to seek different ways to manage their activities. Management models are widely used a tool to improve product quality, the health and safety of the company employees as well as the environment in which the organization operates. However, when setting up this systems, organizations usually observe only the individual requirements of the standards, leaving out relevant information from the inside context. In addition to generating a large number of redundant documents, this situation ends up causing an overload in the activities of employees, making it difficult to manage these systems. One possible solution to manage these problems is integrating different systems, where one observes the similarities between them to facilitate their implementation, operation and planning. The aim of this article of exploratory-descriptive nature is to research in the literature in order to find a relevant biographic portfolio, coherent to the researcher’s point of view on the subject, thereby producing more knowledge to the researchers through Bibliometric Analysis of the international literature, by using the Knowledge Development Process – Construtivist (ProKnow-C) as an intervention tool.
