System intercropped of sunflower, string bean and peanuts in series replacement.

The crop intercrop consist in seeding two or more species in the same area, in a way that one of the species manages to live with the other during all or at least part of it’s cycle. The aim of this paper was to evaluate the production grain and pod and their components, of crops, sunflower, string bean and peanut. The study was developed from April to July, 2010, in Quixada, Ceara, Brazil. The design utilized was in random blocks consisting of 9 treatments and 4 repetitions. The treatments consisted of the T1-GI100%, T2- FE100%, T3- AM100%, T4- GI75% + FE25%; T5- GI50% + FE50%; T6- GI25% + FE75%; T7- GI75% + AM25%: T8- GI50% + AM50%; T9- GI25% + AM75%. The monoculture results were superior to the intercropped ones. In intercropped with stringbean highest production os sunflower achenes occurred in Pool 75% sunflower + 25% string bean. The systems of intercropped showed the Use Land Efficient superior to 1 (one) in the proportion population plant GI75%+FE25%, GI50%+FE50%, GI75%+AM25% e GI25%+AM75%, meaning that different intercropped arrangements are more advantageous than monocultures.

CRESCIMENTO DA PIMENTA TEKILA BODE VERMELHA SOB IRRIGAÇÃO COM EFLUENTES DOMÉSTICOS

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of different concentrations of wastewater through irrigation water on the growth of pepper culture (Capsicum chinense) cultivar tekila. The study was conducted in the experimental area of Superior Technology Course in Irrigation and Drainage of the Faculty of Technology Centec Cariri, located in the city of Juazeiro do Norte-CE. The treatments consisted of four wastewater percentages (25%, 50%, 75% and 100%) through irrigation water. Data on height and stem diameter of pepper seedlings were obtained at four different times of the crop cycle (15, 30, 45 and 60 days after application of treatments). According to the results, the stem height and stem diameter were not significantly influenced with domestic effluent concentrations used. The time of collection influenced not only the values of height but also of stem diameter, obtaining in both variables, linear behavior during the conduct of the experiment.
