New species and records of Shrungabeeja from southern China

Three species of the anamorphic fungus Shrungabeeja were collected from tropical forests in Yunnan Province, southern China. S. melicopeae sp. nov. and S. begoniae sp. nov. are described and illustrated from specimens collected respectively on dead branches of Melicope triphylla and Begonia semperflorens. S. vadirajensis is recorded for the first time from China. A key to the three known species of Shrungabeeja is provided.

Taxonomic studies of Ellisembia from Hainan, China

Two new species of the anamorphic genus Ellisembia were collected from tropical forest s in Hainan Province, China . Ellisembia podocarpi sp. nov. and E. photiniae sp. nov., occurring respectively on dead branches of Podocarpus imbricatus and Photinia parvifolia , are described and illustrated. They are compared with similar species.

New records of Corynesporopsis from China

Three species of Corynesporopsis - C. uniseptata, C. quercicola, and C. indica - are recorded for the first time from China. They are described and illustrated from specimens collected on dead branches of unidentified plants. The specimens are deposited in Herbarium of Shandong Agricultural University, Plant Pathology (HSAUP) and Mycological Herbarium, Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (HMAS).

A new species of Heteroconium from Fujian, China

Heteroconium schimae sp. nov. is described and illustrated occurring on dead branches of Schima superba. The specimen was collected from tropical forests in Fujian province of China. The type specimen is deposited in HSAUP (Herbarium of the Department of Plant Pathology, Shandong Agricultural University) and HMAS (Mycological Herbarium, Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences).

Craspedodidymum and Corynespora spp. nov. and a new anamorph recorded from southern China

Two new species are described and illustrated: Craspedodidymum fujianense from dead branches of Acacia confuse and Corynespora fujianensis from dead branches of Myrioneuron faberi . Craspedodidymum proliferans is a new record for China. These three species were collected from tropical and subtropical forests in southern China.
