SOCIOECONOMIC AND FINANCIAL ANALYSIS OF FAMILY FARMING: A CASE STUDY ON CERRO PELADO/URUGUAY

Family farming contributes significantly to food production, income generation and development of all regions, plays a fundamental role in agribusiness. In this context, this study sought to identify the socio-economic and financial conditions of a family farmer from the town of Cerro Pelado, inside the city of Riviera / Uruguay. With the analysis of this case, we verified the existence of typical problems of family farming in Brazil, such as lack of manpower, lack of government incentives, difficulty of access to markets and high dependence on intermediaries are also the main problems in the case of family farming in the region under study.

MANAGEMENT OF RURAL ACTIVITY: A STUDY AMONG BUYERS OF AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY VISITORS EXPOINTER - ESTEIO/RS

Considering the great social and economic importance of the agribusiness, this research seeks to identify the determinant factors that influence the most the decision taking of rural producers on agricultural machineries. In order to achieve this objective, an analysis of the decision making procedure was done by rural producers, identifying their profile and which factors are the most relevant in the moment of purchasing. Initially, we did an overview of the industry and agricultural implements in Brazil and in the Rio Grande do Sul state and show its statistics of production and sales. The methodology used is this research is based on an exploratory study through field research conducted on August, 28, 2011 at the International Exposition of Animals, Machineries, Implements and Rural Products (EXPOINTER) – Esteio-RS through the application of a semi-structured questionnaire. It is concluded that the main factors that determine the choice are related with the operational procedure, trust on label, friends and experts’ opinion and the financing form.

IMPACTOS FINANCEIROS DOS GASTOS DAS MEDIDAS DE GESTÃO AMBIENTAL EM UMA UNIDADE DE ABASTECIMENTO DE POSTO DE COMBUSTÍVEL

The environment is an indispensable resource for human survival, as well as certain economic activities are essential, and difficult to reconcile a peaceful coexistence between the two. It is of growing concern in proposing an economic development covering issues related to the environment, to promote basic environmental conditions, not attacking the nature and place where such ventures are installed. Accordingly, the gas stations because they are characterized by the development of high-risk activities for the environment, should invest in environmental protection in order to make their activity less aggressive as possible. Any measure adopted environmental management in order to preserve the environment involves the consumption of resources, which need to be controlled and properly accounted for. Therefore, it is the duty of accounting to identify and assess the economic and financial events related to the environment, FRANCESCHI et al., v(9), no 9, p. 2010 – 2020, 2012.

UTILIZAÇÃO DE INSTRUMENTOS DE GESTÃO CONTÁBIL PELOS PRODUTORES AGROPECUÁRIOS

O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar a utilizacao de instrumentos de gestao contabil pelos produtores agropecuarios visitantes na Feira de Agropecuaria de Santa Maria, no ano de 2010. Para tanto, procurou-se levantar o numero de produtores que se utilizam das informacoes contabeis e como estas estao sendo utilizadas. Alem disso, procurou-se avaliar a finalidade das informacoes para o gerenciamento do empreendimento. Os resultados apontam que a maioria dos produtores utiliza-se da guarda de recibos e notas fiscais como instrumento de controle das suas atividades.

ATIVIDADES CONTÁBEIS EM PEQUENAS EMPRESAS: ESTUDO DE CASO DE UMA EMPRESA DE SANTA MARIA/RS

Este artigo relata a experiencia vivenciada por alunos e docentes do curso de Ciencias Contabeis da UFSM com uma pequena empresa agropecuaria de Santa Maria/RS. Ainda busca evidenciar a importância das pequenas empresas manterem, alem da contabilidade informatizada, controles internos. O trabalho amparou-se na pesquisa descritiva, especificamente no estudo de caso, apresentando resultados positivos as partes envolvidas: aos academicos contribuiu na formacao e qualificacao profissional devido a oportunidade de aliarem a parte teorica a pratica; a empresa, ficaram mais claros quais gastos estao envolvidos em suas atividades, bem como seus custos, resultado e preco de venda, facilitando o seu planejamento.

A Contabilidade Gerencial e a Lei de Responsabilidade Fiscal

Desde a criacao do estado um dos maiores problemas enfrentados na administracao publica e o endividamento. A Lei de Responsabilidade Fiscal traz uma mudanca institucional e cultural no trato com o dinheiro pubico, estabelecendo normas orientadoras das financas publicas no pais e rigidas punicoes aos administradores que nao manterem o equilibrio de suas contas. O presente trabalho visa apresentar um modelo de relatorio gerencial para pequenos Municipios que expressa a situacao financeira a curto prazo, servindo como um instrumento a disposicao do administrador publico para a tomada de decisoes.

O CONTROLE CONTÁBIL NA ATIVIDADE PECUÁRIA EM LOCALIDADES DA REGIÃO CENTRAL DO RS

O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar a ocorrencia de controles contabeis, bem como a finalidade de suas realizacoes, dentro de suas especificidades, na atividade pecuarista das localidades de Dilermando de Aguiar, Formigueiro, Julio de Castilhos, Santa Maria e Sao Martinho da Serra. Para coleta dos dados foram aplicados questionarios aos visitantes pecuaristas da 43a Expofeira Agropecuaria de Santa Maria. Os resultados indicam que na regiao prevalece a preocupacao com o conhecimento dos custos de producao bem como a finalidade de planejamento.
