Teoria da Atividade: contribuições conceituais e metodológicas para o estudo da aprendizagem organizacional

In accordance with the need to expand discussions on Organizational Learning in the Administration area in Brazil, as pointed out by Brazilian authors engaged in the issue, this article contributes to the introduction of ontological understandings based on dialectical materialism, and the theoretical and methodological elements of the Activity Theory, which belongs to the historical-cultural perspective of the Russian tradition. Within this proposal, Developmental Work Research and Expansive Learning are presented as promising elements aligned with this theory in the study of learning and organizational development, contributing to the extrapolation of learning at the individual and collective levels. Based on this theoretical and methodological scope of research, we intend to contribute to further discussions by providing opportunity to dialogue with other perspectives of analysis and considering the very expansion of the concept of Organizational Learning. Resumo: Atualmente existe no Brasil uma crescente discussao sobre aprendizagem organizacional na area de Administracao. Desta forma, este artigo visa contribuir para essa discussao introduzindo elementos teorico-metodologicos provenientes da Teoria da Atividade, pertencente a perspectiva historico-cultural, de tradicao russa. Dentro dessa proposta, a metodologia de pesquisa de desenvolvimento do trabalho e a aprendizagem expansiva sao apresentadas como elementos alinhados a essa teoria e promissores no estudo da aprendizagem e no desenvolvimento organizacional, contribuindo para a aprendizagem do nivel individual e coletivo. Com base nesse escopo teorico-metodologico de pesquisa, pretende-se contribuir para novos debates, oportunizando o dialogo com outras perspectivas de analise bem como considerando a possibilidade da propria expansao do conceito sobre aprendizagem organizacional. Eu, Alex, da etnia Guarani: o testemunho de um estudante indígena de administração e seu duplo pertencimento

The Indigenous students’ attandance in Brazilian public universities has been a recent phenomenon, dating back to 2002, due to their original experience of the university entry and endurance in Parana, Brazil. Students’ passages through various undergraduate programs reflect the reality of a double belonging: being both an Indigenous and an academic student. This study brings forward the testimonial dialogue of a Guarani student of the Administration Undergraduate Program and as an author, as well, based in the strategy of the life history approach. The narrative reveals challenges, limitations and possibilities of the academic pathway taken by Indigenous students in Administration Bachelor’s Degree, showing three main aspects: the statement of their ethnic and community belonging within the academic education context, whose intent is preparing Indigenous students as interlocutors between their community, the State and other institutions and the entrepreneurial intent of an academic student.

Gestão por competências nas pequenas empresas do APL de bonés da cidade de Apucarana (PR): seu entendimento e suas práticas em confronto com as perspectivas teóricas

ABSTRACT The competence construct comes gaining space in the academic discussion due to its importance for the management of people and, in consequence, for the performance of the organizations, including in those companies called small. This present work, characterized as exploratory and descriptive, has a purpose to analyze the understanding of managers/administrators performing at local productive arrangement (APL) of caps of Apucaranas city (PR) in relation to the management by competencies. In this intention, beyond a revision of literature on competence construct, was done a research at the APL. The gotten results shown that the knowledge of advantages of the management based on competencies by the managers/administrators envolved in this study, however it was proven that its far to be understood as philosophy business-oriented, the management based on competencies has been only used as managemental too aiming at the results in short term.
