This paper tries to explain the consideration that the “globalization era” is already gone and we are living a “post-global era”. Globalization has been a project of a world-integrate economy regulated by the trade rules, to follow the mutual profit of all the participants with positive advantages for the society. Now, this project, looks like a broken dream: today, it’s quite easy to describe the globalization as the cause of violence discrepancy and injustice. The paper wants to focus on the epistemological analysis of the globalization and glocalization words. In Economic Sciences it is often difficult to trace the origin of concepts: these concepts are often products of collective endeavours. From these concepts, by a Business Economics approach, it is possible to derivate some new strategies for the corporate system of 21st century.Inside these processes, from the “post-globalization era”, a new ethical feeling is born to measure the corporate performances that are business, social and ethical performances: these processes will require new accounting instruments and new accounting professional profiles.

Abstract Technology entrepreneurship refers to processes by which entrepreneurs use resources, and technical systems through collaborative exploration and experimentation to pursue opportunities. The purpose of this study is to explore the role of technology entrepreneurship to increase the intention and motivation of engineering students to establish and manage sustainable new ventures and commercialization of technologies developed in university laboratories. Quantitative data were collected via a questionnaire-based by investigating whether engineering students have sufficient entrepreneurial skills to evaluate opportunity, developing new products, and recognizing potential market applications. Engineering students need to be able to exploit opportunities that rely on scientific and technical knowledge to create and capture value by launch new venture. Our important findings have a series of important practical implications for managers, engineering students, engineers, and scientists interested in encouraging economic growth. For example, technology entrepreneurship education increases the intention to start a business and stimulates the activities in a group setting and a network context because of increasing global competition based on agility, creativity and innovation. The findings of the study also provide practical implications suggest that increasing engineering students understanding and awareness of entrepreneurship lead to greater levels of interest in entrepreneurship careers.

The article attempts to outline possible future developments in the field of the public accounting and auditing professions resulting from the present e-government processes, which dates back to the early 2000s. This change has an untapped potential that could have a profound effect in many areas, such as the rationalization of public spending, business ethics, and university education to new professions required by the future labor market. It should be noted also that the future change of labor is a generalist issue proposed in many prestigious international researches: the paper seeks to make a contribution specifically oriented to the field of accounting and auditing professions applied to the public sector. After a methodological premise of systematization of the related topics of reference – whose origins can be traced back to the New Public Management Theory – the theoretical approach of the contribution will try to develop some Italian real implications regarding the change under study.

Abstract The realization of a new Public Administration oriented to the efficiency and to the transparency is one of the objectives of the current European policies. In this process, the Public Institutions have shown a continuing and growing need to develop systems of multidimensional measurement of their performances: a relatively new process, which has its origin from the New Public Management (NPM) Theories. The research - which has as reference to the Italian Lyric-Symphonic Foundations - lies in the complex area of measuring the performance of Public Institutions: specifically, the study seeks to identify the presence of a possible correlation between some indicators of corporate performance and the administrative transparency level deduced from the information available on the Public Administration’ websites under study.

We present in our article some original quality evaluation methods for Metallic Materials Industry (MMI). Also we present categories of environmental performance indicators. They should therefore be cost-effective and appropriate to the size and type of organization and its needs and priorities. The paper presents the main methods of technical-economical analysis of the quality of the metallic materials industry. There are mainly presented and analyzed a specific analysis models. Both the analysis methods for products (A) and the ones for companies (B) are presented in comparison. The main results consist of the correlation between the technical – economical analysis methods and the mathematical models used. Also we present in our article the main categories of environmental performance indicators: comparability, balance between problematic (bad) and prospective (good) areas, continuity, timeliness, clarity, operational performance indicators, management performance indicators, environmental condition indicators.

The methodology of establishing an Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) and technological plant’s best management strategy is based on the “technological process – technological plant” interdependences. The paper presents the best management of a plant and consists of an assembly of operations, measures and decisions, established and applied in order to make the technological process more efficient from the technical – economical point of view. We present constructive and functional description of an Electric Arc Furnace such as: refractory masonry; metallic construction; electric installation. We also present the best management of a plant consisting of an assembly of operations, measures and decisions, established and applied in order to make the technological process more efficient from the technical–economical point of view, Electric Arc Furnace management included.

Abstract In a previous study we have researched the causes of the current global crisis, which manifests itself in financial terms, but whose origin is due to the ethical model of reference. Following these ethical issues, the aims and topics of the present paper are: producing a systematic analysis of the ethical indicators used in the current international practices; extrapolating the ethical ranking models with a high relevance in Business Economics and highlighting the strong limits of the methodology in current use.
