Vibration model of a powertrain for real-time environment

In the early phase of powertrain development it is becoming important to link test environments with virtual prototypes. The Acoustic Competence Centre ACC Graz and AVL List Graz introduce a method for the rapid calculation of torsional vibration excitations in engines resulting from gas and inertia forces. The example of an all-wheel powertrain is used to present object-oriented modeling options for further application in a “Hardware in the Loop” HiL environment.

Schwingungsmodell eines Antriebsstrangs für die Echtzeitumgebung

In der fruhen Entwicklungsphase von Antriebsstrangen gewinnt die Verknupfung von Testumgebungen mit virtuellen Prototypen an Bedeutung. Das Akkustikkompetenzzentrum ACC Graz und die AVL List Graz stellen eine Methode zur schnellen Berechnung der Drehschwingungsanregungen von Motoren infolge von Gas- und Massenkraften vor und prasentieren am Beispiel eines Allradantriebs die Moglichkeiten von objektorientierter Modellierung fur den weiteren Einsatz in einer Hardware-in-the- Loop-Umgebung.
